[Nix Night]

Nix walked along with her hands deep in the pockets of her blaxk And baggy combats with the light and sweet smelling wind brushing through her hair and blowing it over her sholders and the dirt path smelling really not so nice but that just made the walking more fun for her and her team. she jumped as she heard her partner mutter something small and lean forwards on her sholder and drop forwards , she reached both her arms out and caught him as he fell and then looked down at him, why?" she asked. Phantom, a level seven Ralts and nixs starter pokemon, had actually begun to get a little annoyed as his partners long and messy red hair had kept burshing in to his face and so just to tell nix that clearly, he smiled before opening his mouth, "raaa,lt". 

Nix nodded her head and then looked over her shoulder and gave a low whistle and she saw something move in the bushes. A deerling lifted it's head and broke in to a grin and trot towards nix and then butted his head against her side as he came over and nix bent down a little and placed her partner on his back.  she heard something move in the bushes and she turned, a dark form appeared between the soggy grasses and the trees that surrounded them and nix smiled and looked over her sholder. "Tain my sweet, this side, we're going to try a battle me freind" she said in a cheerful voice before turning her head and looking back to the shadow again.  the deerling turned around and then lowered his he's dans let the Ralts climb down from his neck and then looked in to trees after nix and spotted the pokemon shadow and smiled as phantom stepped behind nixs foot.

The shadow in the tree moved quickly once it knew it was spotted. A slithering, black, snake made it's way towards the Deerling. Once he was close enough, he began to coil his body around Tain, initiating a Wrap.

Nix saw the snake pokemon come out of the bushes in a rush and wrap itself around her team mate and nix narrowed her eyes and she bit down on her lip for a moment before thinking of a plan. She nodded her head and then curled her hand in to a fist as an idea formed in her head ,"use secret power tain, it should be something muddy here" she said and broke in to a small smile.

Tain winced in pain as the snake wrapped itself tighter and tighter around him and nix felt her eyes water slightly and she felt her nails cut in her her palms and she winced herself as she looked down to see blood dripping from small cuts in her hand. "Tain come on buddy" she hissed in a small voice that sounded more like pleading when she saw a green glow against her team mates face.

"I didn't say that!" nix called out in both shock and anger as Tain used energy ball and hit the seviper in the face and nix saw it's grip loosen on him and nix broke in to a smile. "yes Tain! Well done!" she called over and she saw Tain drop his head and another glow later it seemed mud bomb blasted in to the snake types face and nix laughed in victory ,"yes! Ground move! Brilliant!" nix said with a laugh as phantom clapped his hands behind her, nix was still shaken that Tain had disobeyed her but she knew he had done it for a for a good reason and nix just knew she had to accept that

Wrap

The poison-type was hit hard by the Energy Ball, his position leaving him nowhere to run. His grip loosened on Tain, but he quickly recoiled himself tighter around the Deerling. There was no escaping this Wrap easily. A ball of mud coming towards the snake made him panic, his grip on the grass-normal type slackening. When the attack hit, he realized it was just Secret Power, and not the ground-type move he thought it was. Angered, he let out a loud hiss and began to Wrap around the Deerling again.

[Nix Night]

It seemed all the attacks had really done to the snake-like pokemon had made it get more angry at her own pokemon, nix looked through her mind for an idea but pulled up short and then phantom tugged on her leg and she looked down at him. He pointed to the mud a little away from them as just as nix was about to scold him for being dumb and wasting time meaning tain was hurt more she realised what he was saying, "tain, buck, buck up and down to try and get free" she called out and tain gave a hiss of pain as the snake’s moves grew tighter.

Nix saw him lower his head and attempt to kick but nothing happened and nix growled to herself, "fine, stupid snake” she muttered to herself making phantom laugh a little. “use enegry ball again and as soon as it back away even a little use tackle" she called over, her fists growing tighter and her nails cutting in her palms like normal. Tain nodded his head and a small but bright green glow later the snake got another blast in the face and gave another very angry hiss, "NOW TAIN! NOW" nix roared as she saw the snake pull back a little and tain nodded his head for a second time.

The deerling couldn’t actually move far enough to charge but he could move a little now, his pressed his hooves down as hard as he could and with a short lived burst of energy he shot forwards. His head smashed against the snake type pokemon and seeing as he was still wrapped up in its coils he tripped and the two pokemon were sent in to a near by tree with a groan from each of them. "not what i was going for but hey, good work buddy" nix called out as phantom clapped his hands again and smiled. he had been helpful and he knew it

He was wrapping Tain tightly, squeezing with all his strength. when the second Energy Ball hit, it weakened Seviper's grip. He was starting to look worn out from the fight, and backed away slightly. This gave Tain an opportunity, but he tripped and missed. The Deerling did however get free from the wrap. Weakened, but not ready to give up, the snake moved in for another Wrap against the Deerling.

[Nix Night]

nix growled as the snake got up from being slammed in to a tree and simply wrapped tain again, "tain, use secrect power again and then energy ball" nix hissed as the snake got its tail round tains legs. Tain blasted the snake back with secert power and it paused for a moment in its wrap before coming back again when tain used enegry ball in its face. It did seem to be fairing very well anymore and nix was planning on using that to her and her team mates advantage

It did wrap itself back around tain again and tain winced again but nix had an idea, "tain, trip yourself, fall over and land your weight on the seviper as you do so" she said and after a cry that sounded a lot like "are you being stupid?" from him. Tain shook himself as the snake pokemon get a better grip and let himself fall to one side a little and then gravity did the rest of the work for him in a few moments. He and the snake pokemon both fell to one side and tain landed more atop the snake than under it and nix watched the snake struggle under him, "keep him there until he weaks and stops trying to move, or until you get a good spot for an attack, which ever comes first for you buddy" nix called over to her team mate and he nodded his head as the snake stuggled below him again

It had taken only the Secret Power attack to weaken the snake's grip. He was far too injured to continue the fight, but the Deerling was taking it further. Laying it's weight upon Seviper caused the snake to squirm as much as his weakened state would allow. When the Energy Ball hit, it was the end of the battle. The snake was completely knocked out.

Not far down the path, a Whismur was sleeping soundly. Currently out of sight of Nix, she would no doubt spot it if she continued on her route. The pokemon was not going to provoke a battle, but if disturbed it could be a dangerous opponent. Would the trainer take a chance or walk away?

Nix looked down as the battle drew to an end and watched the snakes head fall and then nodded, "shake it off buddy and we'll walk away a little. But I'm getting a feeling we won't be getting any extra team mates today boys, just training, there don't seem to be any about" she said before bending over and picking up phantom in her arms. She walked a little way up the path before spotting a whismur in the centre of it and then pausing as Tain came jogging over to her side ,"we can't use jark here seeing as he's too out weighted by the levels of that little guy but do you wanna go again?" she asked him and then pointed towards the normal type in front of them.

Tain looked down at the other pokemon before looking back at nix again ,"deerrrrllii, linggg" he said rather shortly before bumping the only other ball on her belt, nix tilted her head to one side a little before shrugging her shoulders ,"if it's what you want" she answered as he ran forwards to face the other pokemon.

"Tain start with energy ball, then watch it and look for an opening to use return" she called out and watched tains eyes follow the pokemon as it walked up a little closer before dropping his head and letting loose a rather large energy ball in it's direction and then watching from behind to find the right spot to attack the second time

The ball of energy hit the Whismur, causing him to awaken. Annoyed at having his nap interrupted, he charged towards Tain and attempted to slam his weight into the Deerling with a Pound. Hardly even waiting for that move to finish, the Whismur began to shriek loudly. It was a defensive mechanism in hopes that the other pokemon would leave him alone so he could get back to his nap.

[Nix Night]

Tain was hit by the pound from the other pokemon too fast for him to react and the noise that came next actually bought nix to her knees. Very few people knew that because of her childhood in the forests she had developed very sensitive hearing and this right now, was making her head explode. With out waiting for a comment or command ,Tain ran forwards and once he was out of the shade of the trees his ability kicked in and he ran faster, he winced in pain as he came closer to the noisy pokemon but kept running all the same.

Using tackle he slammed in to the other pokemon and it was sent skidding back a bit and then Tain looked back with worried eyes to his trainer who was currently curled up in a ball around phantom. Her eyes had watered a little in pain but a moment of silence had come while the whismur stood up ,"return, now!" she hissed as she unfolded herself and Tain nodded his head. He lowered his again and then ran forwards, his soothe ball ringing against his chest and his body blurring in he sunlight as he sped up once again.

Nix stood up slowly once the sound had cut out and as Tain ran forwards to attack his opponent, she winced as she did so but once she was on her feet she looked down at phantom in her arms. He looked up at her with worried eyes and lifted a hand to her face and she smiled at him ,"you know me and pitchy noises don't work, the same as me and rock types or annoying people don't work either" she said softly before dropping her head to touch his ,"don't keep worrying". At this phantom rolled his eyes and muttered in a low voice to himself ,"raaaaal,lllttss" he said very quietly and nix laughed and then leaned back ,"I'm allowed to, I'm the trainer" she said with a chuckle in her voice before she straightened up and looked back to the battle to see how Tain was doing

The one who had awoken him came charging forward. Whismur stumbled backwards when Tain hit with his tackle. Still shrieking loudly, he increased his volume. All he wanted was for them to leave him alone so he could sleep. The Deerling was running at him again, this time with the bell around his neck glowing. Jumping out of the way, the noisy little pokemon avoided the second attack.

[Nix Night]

Nix winced a second time as the pecky and nosiy whismur started up with the noise again and she muttered darkly to herself before curling on hand in to a tight fist, "tain, use energy ball and then cdome up behind with tackle" she called out and then she hugged phantom colser to her as her ears began to ring and her head felt forced and pressured again. Tain looked back to his trainer and winced as he was her suffering and then he nodded his head before lowering in, he was still in the sun light so his move was sent forwards quickly and with a sharp push off from his back legs he shot forwards in another charge.

He pushed off on the ground before jerking wildly to one side for what seemed like no good reason all of a sudden but nix could call out to him to stop seeing as she was already on her knees again. Phantom was standing on the floor with his hands reaching up to his trainer but he was too small and nix already had her hands covering her ears so he couldnt have reached her face to comfort her even if he wanted too, he turned back to his team mate and gave a loud and rather tight sounding yell, "RRRAAALL" he cried before turning back to his trainer again.

Tain heard his team mates cry and hes eyes narrowed on the normaly type in front of him and he pushed down even harder and shot forwards so he head as brushing again his own energy ball move, both of his moves would now hit at once and with the power of both of them and his ability, he had it planned that the normal type would be sent backwards. Hopefully in to a tree or a rock or something, but any thing hard would work

While the trainer and Deerling made their plans of action, the Whismur once again increased the volume of his shrieking. Why wouldn't they just leave him alone? His eyes were shut tight as he screamed, when he felt the energy ball hit and then suddenly the Deerling was crashing into him. Falling backwards, the screaming ceased for a moment. Weak, but not finished yet, the Whismur stood and resumed it's Uproar. The battle was taking it's toll on both pokemon, especially with Tain having just fought the Seviper before this fight.

Tain skidded back with the impact of the attack on the little normal type and as it's noise cut out again nix lifted her head from the little body ball she had made and looked up. Tain had his head down and was wincing in pain from his taken attacks and nix felt her eyes soften, she would let him finished this battle and then use jark on the next pokemon they found unless it was too high a level, then she would use phantom again but she really wanted to level up jark more than she wanted phantom more powerful. She would rather have all her team at level 6 than one at level 12 and one and 6 and one down at 1.

"Tain use energy ball again buddy and then use return afterwards, it's weakening now mate" she called out in in a wobbly voice as she kneeled up and put phantom down on the ground but of course, the dammed whismur used uproar again and nix gave a hiss of pain. She dropped Over again and curled up in a ball again as phantom winced from the noise and gave another yell ,"RAALLTSS" he cried out and he looked at Tain.

Tain nodded his head and then winced again a little before opening his mouth a bit before blasting a ball of green energy forwards in the direction of the normal type. The move was headed towards the normal types mouth which Tain had planned to keep it quiet ,then he pushed off on the ground again and started another charge. He couldn't move quite as fast as he had done the first few times but he was still moving fast and because he was slower he could turned and shift himself faster so he would be able to aim himself on the whismur even if it moved
