He felt weird being near them....just looking at them way up high in the sky made him feel dizzy. No the blond wasn't scared of planes and he was scared of how they were up in the sky. Mark never got along with high places, and he didn't think that was going to change.
He would say though that the town was rather cool, having not only a gym but an airport that dealt with cargo was kind of awesome. They didn't have anything like that in Johto, the coolest thing they had was the Lighthouse that guided ships. Well that in the Burned Tower, but he had never gone in there.....he really didn't want to see what was in there.
Taking a deep breath Mark turned away from the metal fence blocking his way into the landing strip for the planes, and instead headed towards the Pokemon Center. He could use some place to rest for a bit. Then he could get going again, the doors to the Pokemon center slid open and he walked in. The cheerful tune of the Pokemon Center playing in his ears. Mark even began to hum it as he made his way to a seat.
Tossing his backpack to the side of chair Mark sat down and moved a hand through his hair. "God my legs are killing me." he said, he needed to get a car it would make things so much easier. |

Mistralton City. This place still left a bad taste in Kai's mouth. She had not intended to return here, but this place had the closest Pokemon Center. Reluctantly, she entered the airport town once again. He won't be here, she told herself, though her body was still tense. At any moment she expected some jerk or other to approach her and mock her, but she knew that line of thought was ridiculous. The whole population wasn't out to get her, and yet she couldn't help but be nervous. Trying to take her mind off the topic, she refocused on the weight on her right shoulder. She always carried her messenger bag slung over just one shoulder. It was stupid, and often left her shoulder in pain, but any other way was uncomfortable for her. Readjusting the strap to relieve some of the strain, she began to wonder how the eggs inside were doing. She had managed to pick up quite a few of them on her travels.
Remembering her injured pokemon, the short blonde picked up her pace. Ziva, her Jolteon, trotted along beside her. The goggle wearing electric-type stayed loyally at her heels as they entered the red-roofed building. Immediately, she rushed to the counter and kindly asked the Nurse to heal her pokemon. After handing Joy her pokeballs, she waited a few moments for the process to be completed. Once her team was returned to her, the balls were placed back into her messenger bag.
Now that her task was completed, she suddenly felt all her energy drain. She had frantically rushed to the center, leaving her legs woozy and sore. "I think we should rest for a minute Ziva," she mumbled to her partner. Walking over to the nearest seat, she plopped down in it and let out a quiet sigh. The chair was quite comfy, and felt great for her sore limbs. Closing her eyes, she let a content smile cross her face. She hadn't even realized that she had sat down right next to someone, a stranger in a black cloak. She began to hum quietly along to the music, thinking that no one was around to hear her.
