YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE Two. Felix hadn't even really started for real, and already two. Well, one of them was close to useless, but he still already had two. He grazed the pair of pokeballs attached to the strap which was hanging slightly loose from his waist. Two Pokemon already, after such a short time span. This was really going far better than Felix could ever hope, so if one saw Felix now, one would see him skipping along the route, a route he quite frankly had no idea where was going.
The problem with having only one functioning eye is that you don't see in three dimensions. Even though it may look that way, you don't have any sight of depth at all. So when Feliz saw the cave entrance ahead of him, he thought it was a long distance ahead. The truth, though, was that the cave opening in reality was quite small, so it looked like it was far away for someone who couldn't see in depth. Before he could realize the mistake he was doing, Felix closed his eyes and continued skipping along the route.
After a while, though, he noticed some differences in the air. It was colder, definitely more humid... “What's this?” Felix said to himself, and opened his eyes while slowing down. He was inside a cave. A cave full of bodies of water, and it was dark. It was dark enough at least, dark enough to leave Felix terrified. He paced from place to place inside the cave, looking for a way out, but didn't quite understand how he'd gotten in the cave so fast. “The opening was so large, but now I can't even see it!” he said to himself, and it ecchoed around in the cave. Felix was lost, big time. TAGGED WILD POKEMON WORDS 299 NOTES I WONDER... POST TEMPLATE MADE BY EDWARD OF ON THE EDGE

YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE The cave was somewhat dark, so Felix didn't see much at first. He wandered around aimlessly, trying to find the exit, but always without success. He didn't see anything in the dark, he was scared out of his mind and he saw even less with that bad eye of his. So he ended up finding a water's edge, taking his shoes off and putting them in the cold water. The water, as cold as it may have been, it was surprisingly soothing. Felix felt he could really relax with his feet in the water, even though it was so dark, and closed his eye again with a deep sigh. When he opened his eye, it was used to the darkness, so he saw the cave more clearly. Stalagmites adorned the top of the cave, and the rugged ground was trampled by travelers, so it was hard as pavement. The water stood completely still, only the vibrations from Felix's cold legs moved it. Even the abnormally shaped shadow by his feet didn't move. Felix took a look at the shadow. “What's that?” he said. As he focused, eyes became clearer in the shadow. “OH MY GOD, IT'S A MONSTER!!” Felix shouted out of fear, mostly enhanced by the dark, and threw out one of his pokeballs. Out came a small , round creature with wings and a huge snout. It shared Felix's hardships of seeing, but the Woobat could use sonic and psychic waves to find his way. casanova!!
“Casanova, find out what's attacking me!” Felix commanded. The little teal ball of fur opened his mouth, inhaled slowly. Then he pointed his snout at the shadow, and let out a powerful supersonic. He hoped to receive the confusing waves back to be able to analyze them and identify the target. “Wooooo!” he said with his childish, playful voice and received the waves. Casanova now knew what he was dealing with; a flat fish!? TAGGED STUNFISK WORDS 326 NOTES THANKYOU!! POST TEMPLATE MADE BY EDWARD OF ON THE EDGE

YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE casanova!!
The Stunfisk seemed only minorly affected by the sonic waves, which quite frankly was a dissappointment to Cas, but as the strong personality he was, he would still fight. His morale was as important as ever. Though, he didn't know if he ought to be amused or insulted when the little fish threw mud at him. Of course the ground didn't affect a flying creature such as himslef, but the mere idea of someone even trying that. It was very unsatisfying. Felix now saw that there was some knid of fish down by the water, and quickly flipped up his pokedex. Scanning it, information appeared on the screen at once: STUNFISK - the Trap PokemonIt conceals itself in the mud of the seashore. Then it waits. When prey touch it, it delivers a jolt of energy. Its skin is very hard, so it is unhurt even if stepped on by sumo wrestlers. It smiles when transmitting electricity. Felix scratched the back of his head as he heard the information. "Wow, this is... actually interesting" he admitted, and closed the mobile machine. Felix had decided to catch this Pokemon. "Cas, use Odor Sleuth to identify it, and then hit it with Confusion!!" he commanded, and pointed towards a random direction, which was not towards the opponent at all. Casanova knew better, of course, and simply did as told against the Stunfisk. TAGGED STUNFISK WORDS 231 NOTES I WILL CATCH YOU! POST TEMPLATE MADE BY EDWARD OF ON THE EDGE

[/center] So, the Stunfisk saw the look that crossed the man's face when he launched the ball of mud. What? It was the only move he could think of while being battered around by sonic waves. During the moment that the bat-like pokemon used Oder Sleuth, he ducked back under the water to get another scoop of mud, and when he resurfaced, he was battered with a confusion. And with that confusion, he nearly dropped the mud he had. Although, he launched it at the bat-like pokemon anyway, using mus slap again, unsure if his accuracy was right or not. YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE casanova!!
The attacks seemed to wrk well, in Felix's eyes, so he was all hyped up. The battle made him forget the dark to a certain degree, so he wasn't shaking anymore. He grabbed his shoes and socks, which he had taken off when dipping his feet, and started putting them on. The battle seemed to be going excellent. In Casanova's eyes, though, the battle wasn't all that excellent. Sure, the confusion had hit, but both the supersonic and the odor sleuth had been pretty ineffective. This worried Casanova, as a fault in himself could lead to a defeat, maybe not now, but certainly in the future. Also, back to this battle, the Stunfisk had the advantage of going in and out of the water. It was what had saved him from the odor sleuth, and maybe even the supersonic. This irritated Casanova. "Bat, bat, bat!" he complained, demanding the concentration of Felix. "Yeah, yeah Cas! Go in for another Confusion! And, uh, you can really just do your thing. You seem to be in control here" he shouted in command, struggling to tie his shoe laces in the dark. Casanova grunted, but knew for a fact that what his owner was saying was true. He was in control. And it felt good. With a swoop through the air, the Mud Slap that was thrown by the fish was avoided. Cas tried to give his confusion some momentum as he released it, hoping the frequency of the psychic waves might just get a little shorter, or maybe the amplitude larger. Either way, the energy was launched, and he settled over the water, flapping his wings rythmically. If he kept track of the opponent, he would surely win. Casanova managed to avoid the uncontrolled Mud Slap!! Casanova launched a Confusion with all his might!!TAGGED STUNFISK WORDS 302 NOTES TAK'IM DOWN!! POST TEMPLATE MADE BY EDWARD OF ON THE EDGE

YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE casanova!!
This battle was really boring Casanova. He never liked to use this much time, especially with a worthless guy, so he was getting irritated. Trying to end it all, he hovered over the pond, waiting for the weird fish to surface, for so to be blasted away. Cas was getting serious. Really serious. Felix, on the other hand, was trying to pay attention to the Stunfisk which, awkwardly enough, interested him. The fact that it was a ground and electric type made it very special, with unique battle capabilities. Even though it looked at seemed useless, he thought it was worth a poke ball. So he started closing in on the battling Pokemon, awaiting a weak moment for the Stunfisk when he could catch it. When Stunfisk surfaced, the flying ball of fur didn't even try to avoid the mud. It simply didn't do damage at all, being stopped by the wings, and Casanova now knew just what to do. He fired off a supersonic just as the opponent surfaced, hoping it didn't have time to avoid it, and with no pause whatsoever, Cas fired his confusion on it again. Hopefully, this would take it out, or at least make it give up. As Felix saw the combo, he grabbed his empty poke ball and looked for an opening... Casanova was hit, but not affected by Mud Slap!! Casanova launches Supersonic and then another Confusion!!

YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE After the bombarding from Casanova's side ceased, one could see that the Stunfisk was just floating in the water. Felix couldn't see it all that well, b ut the shadow was clear enough for him to get in a good throw with the poke ball. The ball floated in the water, fidgetting. Then, it started with very slow, rythmical vibrations. One. Two. Three, and the pall shone before returning to Felix's hand. "Hope it's OK for you to join me" he said to the ball, and attached it to his strap. Just as the battle was done, with Casanova completely unharmed, two additional Pokemon entered the scene. One was pretty much an ice-cream cone with eyes and a blue hue, and the other a small, humanoid creature, seemingly muscular. Felix identified them as Vanilite and Machop. The fact that there was two of them gave Tutti an excellent chance to get some action. But, alongside her, two candidates were in the question; Casanova and Helios. While Casanova would make an easy win against the Machop, Helios would have no problem against the Vanilite. So, instead of actually making a good and thought through decision, Felix went with his instincts. "Cas, it's time for some rest" he said, and took back the ball of fur, who had done a splendid job. He then grabbed two poke balls, and released the two chosen pokemon. helios & tutti!!
Helios the Ponyta stood tall and grand as he came out of his ball, with flames protruding from his body. He looked directly at the two Pokemon which were clearly opponents from the start. Tutti on the other hand, was pretty shy, and didn't do much other than hanging there, and look away from any potential eye-contact. She was wearing her sandy coat now, being in a cave, so she felt a little dirty. "Before they attack, let's take them down quickly! Helios, us Double Kick on the Vanilite! Tutti, protect Helios if the Machop tries to attack!" Felix commanded quickly, and the results came in a blink of an eye. While Helios went in with his front hooves towards the Vanilite, Tutti backed him up by standing between him and the Machop. Helios used Double Kick on Vanilite!! YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE helios & tutti!!
The two Pokemon didn't seem very interesting to Felix. He didn't quite know why, but they didn't have the same diverse peculiarity as the Stunfisk, which he had decided to call Orecchio. His team was extended to four now, something that was really incredible considering he was only a beginner trainer. But the fact was he had been lucky to find such trustworthy Pokemon so fast on his path. Luck could really take you a long way, if you really used it. Felix equipped his Pokedex again, wanting to know more about his enemies, so he flipped it up and scanned one after the other. MACHOP – the Superpower PokemonLoves to build its muscles. It trains in all styles of martial arts to become even stronger. Its whole body is composed of muscles. Even though it's the size of a human child, it can hurl 100 grown-ups. VANILITE – the Fresh Snow PokemonThe temperature of their breath is -58° F. They create snow crystals and make snow fall in the areas around them. This Pokémon formed from icicles bathed in energy from the morning sun. It sleeps buried in snow. With an action, there is always a reaction. This is a phrase that can be interpreted from even Newton's third law. So it was not surprising that the pair of Pokemon reacted. Of course, they both attacked their respective Pokemon. In this case, the Machop was going for a kick on Tutti while the Vanillite had shot icicles towards Helios. Felix thought fast, and took control of the situation. "Helios, the ice won't affect you much. Go for a head on Tackle!" he commanded for Helios. "As for you, Tutti, use Protect!" he shouted. His plan worked quite well. As he predicted the ice didn't affect the flames of Helios much, and there was an opening for a tackle. Machop's kick was of course futile against Burmy's Protect, and everything was going well. Helios was hit by Icicle Spear, and hit back with a Tackle!! Tutti used Protect to protect itself from foe Machop!!TAGGED MOD!MEULK WORDS 346 NOTES FIGHTING-TYPE AND EGG-MOVES ARE MY SAVIORS POST TEMPLATE MADE BY EDWARD OF ON THE EDGE

YES, WE ARE GOLDEN WAKING UP IN THE MIDDAY SUN, WHAT'S TO LIVE FOR? YOU COULD SEE WHAT I'VE DONE helios & tutti!!
The Vanillite seemed to be reaching it's limit, as Helios was blasting it with kicks and tackles. It was only logical, of course, since kicking ice that way would break it. In other words, fighting-type against ice-type. It was that simple, really. It was always that simple. Pokemon was a science, just like everything else, and most of it was known by the average person. Pokemon are split into seventeen types, which all relate to each other somehow. And Ice, one of the types, was weak against Fighting. There was no changing that. Responding to the moves this time was too late for Felix. A battle went fast, at least one against free-minded Pokemon without masters, so he would have to rely on his Pokemon in some situations. This was one of them. The Vanillite hardened, becoming more difficult to hurt, and shot another round of icicle spears in Helios' direction. Helios ignored them, and decided to use his back legs, which were stronger, in another Double Kick, as it had worked so well before. “Pon-pon” he voiced happily as the two kicks approached. Meanwhile, Tutti wasn't ready for another protect, and was hit by the leer that came her way. She felt intimidated, and couldn't react fast enough in her fear, to block the low kick. Fortunately, the numbers were on her side. Low Kick was an attack made for damaging heavy opponents. Tutti was not heavy at all. And fighting-moves were weak against her bug-typing. So the attack didn't succeed much. Helios was hit by Icicle Spear, and hit back with a Double Kick!! Tutti was hit by Machop's Low Kick!!TAGGED MOD!MEULK WORDS 274 NOTES TIME TO KILL THE ICE-CREAM!!
