[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: #b7b6c6;]i lie awake because i'm scared It was a rather a not nice day to be out.
The sky was dark, void of the usual warm rays of the sun only to be replaced by gray cloud, droplets of water poured out in steady supply as the day stretched on. None stop too, though it could've been pouring even harder if whoever was controlling the weather was bent on giving the blonde a weird day. Elijah? He was having a damn good time. Of all the times he had forgotten to actually bring an umbrella, and spare clothes too, it just had to rain. To share in his demise was the small bluish-green pokemon, his Gible, Ripjaw. As it was, the dragon-type didn't like the rain either.
They sprinted for cover beneath on of the many large trees that surrounded the route, Elijah finding it perplexing for a pokemon with such stubby legs to run as quickly as Ripjaw did. The blonde slumped against the tree, mind going blank as he looked at the dark skies. Hell, did someone know he had been planning to go out today or something? And sabotaged it just for his sake? Before he go on with his dreary thoughts, he was yanked out of them. With a yelp he glared at Ripjaw, who had attached himself to his leg, with his teeth firmly clamped on his calve.
Ahh yes, not to mention Rip seemed to have picked up on the habit of latching onto just about everything with his jaws and chewing on it. Just what he needed, a teething Gible. "Damn it Rip, told you to stop doing that." He growled, already trying to pry off the dragon. The Gible only growled back, continuing with his chewing. Thankfully the tall blonde had jeans on, else he would've been bleeding by now.
Several curses, scratching and more biting later, Ripjaw was contentedly sat by Elijah, a rather large rock being the object of his amazement for the time being. The trainer sighed, though showed a lazy smile to no one in particular. Hell, he and Ripjaw had a looong way to go. A WILD FRILLISH APPEARED! LEVEL 4 | ABILITY CURSED BODY | MALE MOVES: WATER SPORT, BUBBLE Flopping all over the place was the ghost/water jelly fish, just recently released by a heartless owner for it to hobble back to water on its own! Thankfully it was raining and it made travel easy. However, it was tiresome... Seeing the first mode of transportation possible, a blond man near a tree with his pokemon. Frillish went as fast as its little tentacle legs could go, he lept to cling onto the man. 'To the nearest river my good steed!!' It commanded pointing one of its tentacles to where ever he thought was a river or a lake near by...

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: #b7b6c6;]i lie awake because i'm scared This really wasn't how he wanted to spend his day.
All of a sudden, he felt something slimy and wet stick to his back, there was even a murmur of some kind of gibberish from said creature. The Frillish's blue tentacle was waaay to close to his face as the pokemon pointed towards a direction. The better option would've been to calmly pry the water-type, just as he had done with Ripjaw, and then battle it to reestablish his dominance over these clingy pokemon. Well, that was before he took a look at the pokemon.
Ghost-type.
He chill ran through him as his face contorted with horror. He looked into those soulless red, blue rimmed, eyes, before he practically jumped to his feet, away from the tree and into the rain. As if that would get the Frillish's tentacles off of him. "Raaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhh" He screamed out, trying to get a hold of the Frillish, and failing. Not only was he getting drenched, but a ghost was being touchy touchy with him.
All the while, Ripjaw watched with little amusement as his trainer jumped up and down with the blue pokemon on his back. He was way more interested with the rock he currently held in mouth. Plus, Elijah hadn't ordered him to do anything either, so he couldn't exactly be held to blame for being less than interested in the scene before him. But he chuckled nonetheless, his trainer freaking out was a funny sight.
Elijah's eyes flashed with panic, before he caught sight of the Gible, laughing at him. Desperation was next to come, but not without resolve. "RIP, G-GET THIS THING OFF ME DAMN IT!!" He yelled off, half in anxiety and the other half with annoyance. The Gible uttered a mumble in his own language, gently placed the rock on the grass, before braving the rain after his trainer. The pokemon bent his knees, his hide glistening slightly and then lunged at the pair with an Iron Head. Of course this would mean that Elijah would be hit too, but hey, he was only doing what he was told. A WILD FRILLISH APPEARED! LEVEL 4 | ABILITY CURSED BODY | MALE MOVES: WATER SPORT, BUBBLE
Oh well that's no way to greet a Prince, the Frillish thought with a frown. The crown on his head was probably just some kind of growth from his species, but he still took major pride in it! He deserved respect! At least... some to be brought to water. Or so he believed. The screaming and terror that this man had executed however, was a tad humorous, insulting and frightening all at the same time. Desperate for some water, the thing still clung to the man as he bounced and yelled at his Pokemon for some help.
Surprised by the random attack from behind, the jellyfish gurgled some kind fo yelp from the pain before randomly using [BUBBLE]. There was no real target intended, he was just surprised and upset that someone would try to hurt him!

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: #b7b6c6;]i lie awake because i'm scared Ripjaw's attack only seemed to tighten the hold the Frillish had on him. Not good in his book at all. He would've flung the ghost water type off his back by now, was it not for the fact that the blue's pokemon bulbous body, coupled with the water, was kind of slippery and he simply could not keep his grip on it. Though with the way the Frillish was clinging to him, it didn't seem likely he could get the thing off by himself. He pretty much stumbled as the Gible attacked both of them, which only proved his earlier point that the water type wasn't going to let go that easily.
As the first dregs of composure returned to him, he started flailing about in another desperate attempt. He was already drenched to the skin from the rain, he was starting to feel cold even. How he hated that feeling. "Shit!" He snarled "Ripjaw, use Outrage and get the damn thing off." He held as still as possible. If a direct hit wasn't going to work, then he'd ram the pokemon into the nearest tree until it did. Another shudder ran through his spine as he held still, the feeling of the ghost type's body on his sinking in. Ripjaw nodded in understanding, though was in no way happy with the tone that Elijah used to speak to him. He was no slave to the man, and he was doing this for the sake of getting stronger with a trainer. Now that Elijah wasn't moving around like an idiot, it would be much easier to aim properly. With that the dragon type lunged at the Frillish with malice, letting his instincts take over as he thrashed about, using all he could to hurt the Frillish in an Outrage of attacks. A WILD FRILLISH APPEARED! LEVEL 4 | ABILITY CURSED BODY | MALE MOVES: WATER SPORT, BUBBLE
Okay this man was just a little annoying with his freak out, I mean... C'mon, the jelly prince wasn't scary looking, he was HANSOME! one of the best looking jelly fish around if he may say to himself. However, his pokemon and him had other plans. The rampaging Dragon attack hurt real bad, it was an incredibly strong move. Losening his grip on the man, the world started to spin and he didn't have any energy left...

FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY.
The Frillish's appendages finally loosened themselves from him as Ripjaw continued his onslaught. The dragon paused as he watched the blue pokemon slump against his trainer, releasing him from his grip. Ripjaw had to fight down the urges to attack once more, though it did help that the conscience wouldn't allow him to hurt something that was already down. Hey, he wasn't that heartless.
Elijah's clothes stuck to his skin as he pushed the Frillish away some more. Damned thing didn't look any less horrifying with its eyes closed. Course, now the question was whether to just leave the thing here or capture it. In all honesty, he didn't want the troublesome thing, not only was it a clingy, it was a freaking ghost type. But all the same, leaving the pokemon to its fate on the road felt... Like he was letting the pokemon get off to easily on this. No, he had a better idea.
He took out a pokeball from his pocket and enlarged it to its full size. Yes, he'd capture the thing and then torment it as much as he could now that he had possession over the pokemon. That would be fitting for revenge. He threw the red ball at the no longer moving Frillish. For now he waited by Ripjaw's side, the both of them watching the pokeball to see whether the capture was successful. Both trainer and pokemon were dripping wet, though it was only the blonde who was shivering from the cold.
Damn they needed to get out of the rain.

The ball twitched from left to right, flashing on and off as the Frillish tried to escape; but alas to no victory seeing as the thing had stopped moving. It knew that it would end badly with this man... he can feel it in his jelly.
Skipping along in the puddles, just a couple steps away was the otter pokemon. Just gleefully enjoying the rain, purposely jumping into puddles. It saw the horror of the other water brother being caught, however... it doesn't seem to phase the cocky little thing at all. Puffing up its chest to make it look bigger, it was the baddest of them all.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: #b7b6c6;]i lie awake because i'm scared And did he have some things planned for the Frillish, letting the pokemon waddle out through dry scorching sand, or perhaps he'd let Ripjaw use the jelly-like pokemon as a sort of chew toy, at least that would be productive, and entertaining at the same time. These thoughts did little to improve his mood however. Point was, he was cold, wet, and much more pissed off than he earlier was. The splashing sound caught his attention. Well, that was sort of good, another being he could vent out all this negative energy on.
He narrowed his eyes as he caught sight of the blue and white pokemon, splashing about merrily, before taking a look at them and strutting its stuff. He scoffed. Even the pokemon were vain things, reminded him a bit too much of a his encounter with a several people just last night. An... Oshawott? He thought, doubting for a moment if he had thought correctly. And then he looked a bit surprised. Wasn't that kind of pokemon on the rare side? If he had a preference for pokemon, it was for the rare and make-people-jealous kind.
It figured that it had to be raining for him to have such luck.
The water type was just asking for a fight, how could he back down from that? But first, to get out of the rain. Quickly, though not exactly running, he went for the protection of the trees. Ripjaw followed, though stopped when Elijah turned around and pointed at the Oshawott. "Oh no, you're fighting that thing, I want it." He told to the already growling Gible. He frowned at the Dragon, he really had to teach the pokemon to be a bit more accepting of his command. "Do it. The faster you do, the closer we are to a nice hot meal." He said, almost sweetly.
Well that got Ripjaw's attention.
He turned tail to face the Oshawott, an expecting grin on his large jaw. "A thrash'll do." murmured the trainer, at the same time shaking his head, splattering a few droplets of water on the bark of the tree. The Gible charged forward, ready to unleash a flurry of attacks on the Oshawott once he was close enough.

It sat there, watching the two arguing. This time it was paying attention, knowing the conversation was about it. Ego boost. It puffed out its chest to make it seem larger than in reality, placing its tiny paws on its hips, posing as if Elijah was taking groupie photos of it.
Watching the dragon type near, thrashing wildly. It looked like fun! The little Oshawott was a [COPYCAT] and he too started to thrash about. If the two hit, it would be just a ball of flailing fists, kicking stubby legs and bucking heads.

[atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width: 450px; background-color: #b7b6c6;]i lie awake because i'm scared A pokemon such a Rip, with his large mouth and seemingly round belly, was easily persuaded by food. As such, at the mention of a meal, he was more than happy to get it over with. Wasn't he just a tiny bit afraid that Elijah wouldn't pay as much attention to him if he were to have a lot of other pokemon? The answer, a quick and simple no. He hadn't been too long with the man to actually say that the blonde cared for him, heck forcing him into the rain to fight another pokemon seemed more like a step in the opposite direction. But from the few days he had been with Elijah, he had noticed a few things. One, he was quite picky when it came to a coupe of things. They had spent quite an amount of time looking for a hotel, and it was only when Elijah was completely satisfied did they settle down, otherwise they would've spent the night on the park benches. And so, in his mind anyway, him getting chosen by the man must have meant something, right?
"Go on Rip, show em you're stronger." Elijah said almost lazily, hugging himself from the cold. He was seventy four percent sure that an Oshawott couldn't learn Thrash too... But this was certainly was. Which only made him want the water type even more. And, well, if it turned out he didn't like the pokemon so much, he was sure that it would be worth a pretty penny. Ripjaw growled as he watched his attack get copied, if anything it only made him want to hit even harder. The dragon type met the attack with his own, the Oshawott's own limbs hitting him as he attempted to do the same.

A WILD OSHAWOTT APPEARED! LEVEL 2 | ABILITY SHELL ARMOR | FEMALE MOVES: TACKLE, COPYCAT
Oshawott was a proud little creature, however, the Gible was just a little stronger than she. His hits were tougher, and he didn't seem to want to go down all that easy. She winced as his fist and head collided with her face in the Thrash battle. Ooooh if she knew any water attacks, the two of them would have went flying!
Crancking her head back, the wild Oshawott charged forward the couple steps between hers and her opponent's flailing arms to give it a right good [TACKLE]. She's begining to get a little tired...

A flash of lightning and a low grumble of thunder permeated the air, the weather simply not letting up. He took the attacks as he delivered his own, before backing up, away from the Oshawott.
Elijah was thankful that the pokemon hadn't used, or perhaps didn't know, any water attacks as of the moment. Given the weather, they both would've been in quite some trouble if the Oshawott could. The blonde could see that the Gible was indeed still standing, though for how long he wasn't sure. Given that the earlier battle with the Frillish didn't really hurt him as much, he could at least assume that the dragon wasn't at the point of fatigue. But for how much longer, he could only guess.
"Dodge it, Rip, then back up." said Elijah, voice shivering slightly. Ripjaw did a little growl, before jumping away from the oncoming tackle and hopped backward as he was told. Elijah nodded, before taking out a pokeball from his bag. Yet another to capture for the day. He stepped back into the rain, not sure if he could throw that far accurately, and threw the red sphere at the Oshawott. Given that Rip hadn't made the water type faint just yet, the chances of capture were significantly lower. He could only hope that the Oshawott was tired enough, else he would've wasted a pokeball.
