It pretty much looked like a fort, being protected by walls at all sides, and it was all made of limestone and marble. It gave off a really medieval feel, with knights, princesses and jousting and all, but in reality, it was common knowledge that the walls were only erected a couple of years ago. It was actually pretty new. They had done this because of that weird chain of events, which was kinda creepy. A meteor rockets to this planet, and hits close to Lacunosa, and then suddenly the rumors of a monster kidnapping both humans and Pokemons surfaces. Not only that, but the rumors are taken so seriously that the town decides to build fortified walls around the town limits. ”Way creepy” Felix let out with a sigh.
Entering the town was no thoughtless thing either. Arriving at the gates, the guards checked your criminal record before letting you in. Not good for Felix. “Uhm, you've been taken into custody several times, it says here” the guard started saying, reading the records on the screen. ”Yeah, about that, hehe. You see, it's not anything-...” Felix started, but was soon interrupted. ”Three times for harassment and disturbance of public peace, and six times for violation of privacy!?” he read up, with a stern and surprised voice. Felix was kind of embarrassed. ”It's not like I did anything to hurt anyone! I was just hitting on some girls... and maybe following a few of them home. But for their own safety, I'm serious-...” he started explaining, but was again cut short. ”Oh, so you're one of these players, aren't you?” he asked rhetorically. He took up his manual and read some pages.
”You're in luck!” he said. ”We don't have any prohibition against people like you. Welcome to Lacunosa town, hope you enjoy your stay” the guard finished, and opened the door for Felix. ”Thanks, I guess...” he said under his breath, and entered the city. It was a nice town, with marble pavement and light colors all over. There weren't very many people, but still quite a few young adults walking around. The town was a popular stop for trainers, of course, since it was on the way to White forest, Black city and other places like that. It didn't take long to find somewhat of a crowd of people, seemingly in joyous conversation. Felix was about to join, but then...
He spotted a girl, or what you could call a perfect prey. She seemed only a bit younger than him, perhaps nineteen. She had a dark hue of blond hair which just reached her shoulders, and big, green eyes. She wasn't too tall, possibly 5 foot 5 or something like that. Certainly attractive curves, but not too broad. Perfect. Felix decided against joining the crowd, and walked over to the girl instead. His head calmly phrased things for him, mentally, and when he was within proximity of the young woman, he started his game. “Wow, I must have been mistaken” he said to her, skipping the simple 'hi'. "What do you mean?" she asked. Obviously, she was social enough to ignore the fact that he hadn't introduced himself. ”About the legend” Felix continued, smiling calmly and calculating. She seemed confused. “I'm from here, I know it. A meteor fell from the sky and a monster appeared” she explained. ”Yeah, that's what I thought too” he said, and blinked. ”But obviously, it wasn't a monster that came from the sky. I see now, that it must have been an angel...” he said, and bam. That was his line. Hopefully, this was going to work.

you might as well just do it alone, i'll watch you go |
So far away from home, and so insecure. But he couldn't let that show now, could he? Cyrus had managed to stumble to the far away Lacunosa Town, where the large barrier around the city almost seemed to force him away. He didn't feel wanted here, but maybe that was just in his head. Was the wall only there to block him out? As he pondered on about the fortress, he couldn't help but enter the town, sighing and looking around. It wasn't like he had the most graceful of entrances, either. The blonde, deterred by the guards, had managed to climb up and over the wall, sliding into a back alley lot, where light was limited.
Coughing a little, Cyrus dusted the little bit of dirt that had scraped up against his dark brown pants off, glaring at the grime-covered wall as he slid off the property, strolling into the streets. He couldn't help but witness what seemed to be a hassle waiting to happen; a man was trying to get past the guards with a scarred criminal record. The boy smirked to himself, watching with curiosity as the stranger stated his reasons, and why he was innocent. Well, if the guards didn't let that man in, Cyrus doubted he could have gotten in that way. The boy had a notoriously infamous record for drug busts, and being caught with illegal substances. Drinking under age, assaulting police officers while trying to flee a scene, sexual harassment.
Much to the blonde's displeasure, the man was allowed to enter. So the city could care less of what happened, as long as their walls stayed intact? The whole concept didn't exactly make sense to the boy, but he stayed where he was (hiding behind the side of a course, ignoring the glancing passerby), waiting for the right moment to approach. He couldn't just let this opportunity pass and, besides, there was a fine looking young lady standing away from the crowd not to far away from the man. What if she saw the valiant Cyrus saving the city from a criminal? She would certainly talk to him, and he could talk to her. Of course, it would probably lead to some kind of harsh reaction when the boy would bring up touchy topics immediately, but that was part of the fun! He almost hoped the guards would approach him, just so he could be recognized for the delinquent he was (his face was becoming a little more common lately, making strolling the roads a little unsettling for the boy), as long as they never knew his name! Almost. He would have loved to see their panicked and flustered reactions, it would certainly make his day. Unfortunately, he would have to settle with the woman standing a few yards away.
And then that other man was on her like a moth drawn the light. The blonde boy could feel the twinge of irritation draw his lips into an unpleasant frown, as he took a step out of his cover. This stranger immediately struck up conversation. Cyrus hissed to himself- why was there another taking his opportunity?! Listening to the babble for a few moments, the blonde trainer finally took a deep breath, calming himself, and washing away the glare that had originally been there. His eyes gleaming, Cyrus sauntered over to the pair, feet moving surprisingly gracefully as he eased himself into the conversation without warning. "Who just happened to be standing here before us~" he finished for the stranger, smirking at him before turning his head to the female and twirling into a small bow. "Undeniably an angel, darling~ I bet I could take you back to heaven~" he purred, taunting grin perched happily on his lips. "Griffin Dimitris, at your service~ You'll need to remember the name for later tonight, babe" He smirked again, turning away from the woman for a moment, before looking up at Felix.
"Sorry, didn't see you there. If you don't mind... It's kind of crowded over here." He scoffed, motioning to the streets a little. Hopefully the older looking male would get the correct impression, that Cyrus wanted him to walk off like nothing happened. He didn't like being interrupted, after all.

She was probably feeling slightly violated and scared. After all, a total stranger had just walked up to her, while she was just minding her own business, and suddenly told her in the most complicated, yet cliche way possible that she was beautiful. Still, Felix had, all in all, been flattered immensely, within a simile with an angel, and Felix had expressed some cultural understanding of the place. Hoping that the end impression was positive, Felix moved slightly closer, and started talking again. “My name is Felix Ferdinand Fallow, glad to be in your presence” he introduced, and bowed. “Now, what name can one give a pulchritude as yourself?” he asked, and smiled, trying to establish eye contact with her. Almost, almost...
Bam. An interruption. A young man, maybe even a teenager, came, and seemed slightly hostile. Felix sighed. “These children seem to pop up everywhere these days...” he said. The boy started to push him away with both movements and words, irritating Felix. The boy was blond, smaller than Felix, maybe even a little shorter than the girl. He had brown eyes, pretty mediocre, and wore a coat. Overall a simple, slightly too grown-up teenager. Felix saw no competition in him, and decided he wanted to get him away as soon as possible. Though, Felix became slightly excited when he saw the Poke Balls on his hip. This boy was a Pokemon trainer, and as much as he would like to beat him up personally, it would be quite pleasurable with Pokemon too.
The sequence of words and action following, were extremely annoying, a series of insults on a deeper level than you could believe. Firstly, this boy used Felix's own line to play on towards his own. It was disrespectful, Felix had a copyright on his line (yes, he did have it on paper), and so no one but him should dictate the continuation. Especially not the little blond nuisance before him. The anger started flowing in his veins, and his blood also, as he clenched one of his Poke Balls in his hand.
Reaction time, and this had to be good. Felix's brain raced, as he put together words and feelings. “Oh, how sweet. Seems you brought with you a cherub” he said, and smiled, not moving an inch. He patted the boy, apparently called Griffin, on the head. “No wonder he didn't make a crater, as small as he is” he continued, mocking the little one, hoping the anger would take over the other one before it took over himself. He looked around, and saw an ice-cream stand. Felix pulled some coins out of his pocket, and flipped them over to Griffin. “Here you go, take these and buy yourself an ice-cream, little guy. Adults talking here” he said as polite as possible, and turned back to the woman. “Now, where were we...?” he asked her, and blinked.
He wondered if this young man, whom he hated, was strong, seeing as he himself was pretty fresh in the training area. He did want to give him a piece of battle, but losing would be such a humiliation. He wouldn't be able to show his face in Lacunosa Town for a long, long time.
