OTHERS: Elizabeth was raised by quite wealthy parents, yet their money didn't make up for the lack of love their child received. Perhaps it was this that left Elizabeth cold and distant, or maybe it was the fact she could no longer trust anyone. She didn't have many friends and seemed to be quite different to the children of Goldenrod. They would all play outside in the streets and alleys, while Elizabeth would stay at home and study fashion. It was amazing how much it intrigued her, the way women become famous for just looking good. At the age of seven she had found her mother's make-up and experimented. Her nanny was quite disgusted by this as she believed in inner-beauty, yet Elizabeth wanted to be just like the girls in the magazines; skinny and loved. No matter how much weight she would try to lost and how many clothes she brought, Elizabeth never quite looked as good as she wanted. She would hide her dinner and stop snacking, anything to lose the imaginary weight on her stomach so she could too be famous and loved.

When she was fourteen, Elizabeth was seriously underweight, yet luckily she started to simply maintain her current weight instead of losing it. Yet, her life still resolved around make-up and looking good. Instead of getting Pokemon and beginning and adventure or even becoming a coordinator, Elizabeth got a job in the Goldenrod mall. She modeled Whitney's clothing line, earning her own money, she would buy the clothes she spend hours of each day wearing. This continued until she no longer needed her parent's money.

Once Elizabeth was sixteen she planned to move away. She had grown to despise both her parents, for neither were ever there for her. She let them know that her aim was to move to the Unova region and finally begin her adventure with Pokemon, yet this was a small white lie. Elizabeth did plan to go to Unova and travel with her Pokemon, but her main dream was to model there. It was a beautiful region and she was sure it would be the place to start, as one of the gym leaders was known to be a model. After saying her cold farewells, Elizabeth took the train to Kanto, and traveled the the harbour, where she took a boat to Unova. A lot had changed about her physic while venturing there. She had gained some weight, yet still lacked a healthy figure, and dyed her hair a bright pink colour, this being to try and stand out. Once she arrived she realized someone had left a small sphere and letter in her handbag. It read "Dear my little Lizzie, I'm deeply sorry that we forgot your birthday last week... I can't believe you're really growing up so fast. I've decided it's about time you had the Pokemon your grandmother wanted you to have. Treat it well, and I wish you luck. Much love, Mummy. xx". The sphere turned out to be a Pokeball which held her very first Pokemon, Happiny.
