Her small, purple/blue Dratini, named Xes, slithered in front of her. His eyes constantly on the look out for trouble. Kat's eyes roamed around, looking around. She had a peaceful and careful air about her. Xes, her Dratini, couldn't be said the same about. The air around him was tense, violent as well. Though in Xes air, there was a little bit of protective-ness in there. Most could've easily seen that the male Dratini was being protective of the blue/yellow haired girl. The duo walked down the path. Kat was obviously lost in thought, her eyes seemed distant, but the look on her face was saying she was paying attention to where she was going. Xes was making sure she didn't bump into anything. The duo walked the path. Xes seemed to be the leader of the duo even though Katelyn was the trainer and was supposed to assume the leading role of the duo. "Neh, Xes where are we going?" Katelyn asked. Xes stopped, Katelyn stopped as well. He looked back at his trainer as if she was an idiot. Well, he couldn't help it after all he was leading her, instead of it being the other way around like most teams were. Xes liked being in charge though. That was because when he was in charge, that meant he'd have to take the lead and protect the others in his group. Which he often liked the sound of. Xes looked forward and started walking again, Kat followed, but then the duo stopped again for another second. Xes turned his attention to the rustling bushes, he wasn't sure what was in the bushes, but he didn't want to take any chance.s. He quickly turned to face the bushes and the air turned hostile. He was willing to do whatever to it took to protect his, sometimes, air head of a trainer.

Well, feeling so much like a cloud. She closed her eyes, letting the smooth breeze lead her wherever it wanted. She didn't care much about it, sure that she could find her nest even if the wind brought her a bit too far. The wind brought her out from a bush as she opened a lazy eye, just in time to see a blue and white pokemon, along with a girl. She tilted her cloud-like wings for a moment, flapping them gently, hovering in her place. <Hello~~> She chirped happily. <Are you two lost? ♫>

A blue Pokemon with fluffy with wings popped out of the bush. Katelyn's eyes widen, she quickly took out her little, red Pokedex to figure out what Pokemon the Pokemon was. "Swablu, the Cotton Bird Pokemon. Swablu was is the first evolution of Altaria. Swablu has light and fluffy wings that are like cottony clouds. This Pokémon is not frightened of people. It lands on the heads of people and sits there like a cotton-fluff hat. If Swablu spots something dirty, it will wipe and polish it with its cottony wings. If its wi --." Katelyn cut the thing off there. She had more information needed. She scrolled down the machine to see if she could find anything on the Pokemon in front of her itself. "This Swablu is female, with the ability Natural Cure. It knows peck, growl, and astonish." The robotic voice of the red Pokedex said. Katelyn pocketed the machine, she was already sold on the fact it was the first evolution of Altaria. It wasn't a Pokemon Clair used, but it was a Dragon type. Therefore, Katelyn wanted it, but she didn't want to battle it. She found fighting against Pokemon un-interesting, and it hurt both Pokemon involved in it, but people always seemed to like the battles. Xes, on the other hand, loved battles. He loved the rush, the excitement, the sound of the other Pokemons squeals when he got a hit in. The Swablu didn't seem very violent, or prone to violent tendencies, so Xes took action without his trainer's command. He charged up for an attack. Once his body was engulfed in the blue aura, he quickly charged at the Swablu with the dragon rush. Katelyn realized a second too late what Xes was doing, and didn't get her mouth to talk fast enough to command him to stop. She sighed and went along with the male Dratini. She knew how protective he got about her, so she didn't mind the battle. She would've had to anyway to catch the Swablu. [ xes used dragon rush aiming at the swablu ]

She was able to catch herself before she hit the ground though, looking at the Dratini with confusion. She was just being friendly, and this was how she was going to get treated? Fine. If that was how the blue thing wanted it, so be it. The Swablu quickly rose up higher, before diving in at the Dratini, beak first. Female Swablu used Peck!
