Many people would visit for the theme park, the musical theater or even the gym. Yet, the pink haired girl had arrived here with a different ambition, to see the gym leader, not to battle, but to talk. She knew that the electric type trainer was a model and as that was Elizabeth's dream, a conversation with this women wouldn't be passed up very easily. She had seen her in many of the magazines she brought weekly, her style was simply fascinating, she couldn't help but envy her and wish to look as she did. Although, Elizabeth did prefer her hair to the model's and didn't pass up the opportunity to show it off; being why she today had it worn down, sleek and straight. Two long strands of baby pink hair either side of her bangs reached her bust, where the rest of her loved locks went down to her rib cage. The masterpiece was finally topped of with a black headband, which consisted of a huge bow which sparkled when the sun hit it. Walking through the bustling streets of Nimbasa city wasn't as easy as Elizabeth expected it to be. Her heels made the task even more unbearable. It seemed crowds of people were heading in a complete opposite direction to the teen girl. Multiple people her age seemed disappointed as they did. Elizabeth could tell a couple were trainers as red and white spheres hung from their belts, bags, necks and any other places they could think of. A few even had their Pokemon out, who shared their trainer's expressions. Wondering what on earth could of coursed this flood of let-down teens, she carried on walking, skillfully keeping her balance. It was once she reached her destination that Elizabeth realized what people had been annoyed at. It seemed the Gym had been closed. A huge red sign stated this, and on further inspection read a bit more. "The Nimbasa city Gym Leader is on vacation, leading to the closure of the Gym for a month. Sorry for any inconvenience, if any issues arise please conta-" Elizabeth sighed and turned away. It looked like she wasn't going to get to talk with her role model today, or even for another month unless she luckily ran into her where ever she'd hidden herself. "Fuck sake..." She cussed quietly, kicking a small soda can that someone had dropped. The streets were pretty empty around here, as people were finding something to do instead of getting their Gym badge. Elizabeth was obviously disappointed, but she didn't want to waste her trip here, and therefore set off further into the city. Getting a little lonely, the pink-haired girl thought she'd let one of her Pokemon out to keep her company. Setting herself down on a pavement, she began to unzip her bag, and rummage through, trying to locate her Pokeballs. Finally she found one, her Eevee's. It was pretty young, but it was cute, and Elizabeth hadn't spent much time with him. She pressed down on the Sphere's button and allowed the Pokemon to be released from it's Pokeball. He gave a little jump and cry at the sight of his trainer and jumped into her lap. "Hey there, Don." she smiled, stroking his brown fur. "Eeee~" he purred, closing his beady eyes. She stood up, the Eevee wrapped in her arms as she walked along the streets. She knew many icky wild Pokémon ran around these streets and she wanted to find one to help train Don. Walking between over-flowing bins and through rubbished filled streets wasn't what Elizabeth expected to be doing today. She couldn't help but cringe when certain smells hit her nose, and cover Don's face to make sure he couldn't smell it. Finally she came out of some alley-ways and into the main road, near the entrance of the bustling city. She knew there was a little grassy area around there, meaning she could find a few Pokémon to let Don battle with. Of course he didn't know many attacks and would probably be weak, but it was the only way she'd be able to make him stronger. Until she found some TMs she could actually use on him that was. Elizabeth was determined to keep the Pokemon with her all the way through her adventure and career, and to do that, he would have to be prepared for anything. So the teenager found her way into the small field, sitting near the edge of it. "Look Don, we're gonna have a couple battles, okay?" She said, pulling out a little bit of rice cake from her bag and feeding it to the Eevee. He gave a nod as she chewed on the treat, ready to train.[/style] |
