| Undella Bay. To Opal, it was the most beautiful beach she had ever seen. Almost as beautiful as Pacifidlog Town, she thought. The wind blew gently in her face as she sat on the sandy beach, her toes covered in damp sand as the water gently touched her feet. It was a refreshing feeling, really. The ocean view was an incredible sight to see for her. Beside her was her sleeping Houndour, Dante. Despite being a fire type and having a dislike for water, he found the beach view rather calming. Resting his head on the girl's lap, Opal smiled and stroked his neck gently.
Gazing at the waves brought back memories of her home town of Pacifidlog. She remembered the gentle elderly couple that took her in when she was just a little girl. They raised her as if she was their granddaughter. She was eternally grateful to them, she thought. If it weren't for them, she would probably not have lived to this day. However, a frown creased her lips as she also remembered the day she found out about her parents. She had no recollection of them, for they had passed away when she was barely a year old. It was sad, though. She grew up without having a family, or parents. The fact made her sad, and jealous at the rest of the trainers that had left their parents behind to start anew.
Shaking off the negative thoughts, she suddenly remembered that she had requested a meeting with someone she met on AIM. Hain, was his name, she thought. She had requested to meet him in person, and she was excited about meeting someone new. |

But, the teen boy had a thing about water Pokémon. Well, more fish-like Pokémon. He wasn't scared of them... but they were, unsettling. The way they swam, how they looked, their eyes, fins... everything! Hain just couldn't stand them, and for that reason, on the beach he tended to walk high up on the sand. You never know when one might just pop out and attack you!
Hain wiped his sleeve against his forehead, beads of sweat descending down it. The sun was hot, and Hain was wearing layers... not a good idea. Yet he decided to put up with the heat, for he wasn't planning on going into the water to cool down at all. The only real reason he was actually here was because a girl wanted to meet him. It was a bit unexpected, for people didn't normal like him. Well, nor did he like people. Yet, this girl had something about her. She was smart, he wouldn't deny that, but she was from a simply upbringing, not having very much technology with her. He found it fun how she looked at him positively, as if he was a genius. It really made him feel good about himself without having to bring someone down. Then to add to the list of things that made him like her, she was hard-working and actually trying to fulfill her dream. Not many people did, what bothered Hain.
The boy had decided to take his shoes off, to stop sand leaking in there. Now he felt the heat of the sun between his toes, where sand hid. Quickly he scanned his mind trying to remember the girl's name. Oval? Olive? No... Opal! Of course. He kept thinking of a Happiny when talking to her online, it left him quite humored for a bit. Yet he wasn't too sure on meeting her, it was a bit odd, right? Yet he made a promise and decided best to stick to it.
After a casual scan of the area, a girl sat in the sand came to view. Hain guessing it was Opal and made his way to her. The incubator that he had in a back-strap had weighed him down, making the journey seem longer than it had been. But as he reached to where the girl was sat, he felt it best to announce himself by clearing his throat. From there he placed his incubator that held a green and white egg into the sand, and held out a hand, ready to shake Opal's. "In-case you hadn't yet guess, I'm Hain." He tried to smile at her as he said this, then continued to speak, "I'm hoping you're Opal... or this would be extremely awkward for both you and I." He had guessed this was the girl he had been speaking to, as she facial features matched those of the profile picture of Opal.[/style] | [atrb=style, background: #121212; padding: 10px 35px 0px 10px;][atrb=valign, top] |
