Lyu was sitting in the middle of a rather large patch of long grass, pixie was nearby but he didn’t know exactly where she had go one and he didn’t like it one tiny bit. He had let her out of her ball to walk for a bit but the little pokemon had seen a deerling and gone running after it and hadn’t come back yet, "pix come on, you know i hate it when you wander off girlie, come over here" he called out in a tired tone before leaning back on a small rock and flinching in slight pain. "dumb rock" he muttered as pixie came flying at his head with a loud cry of "tooggggeeepiiiiii". The little pokemon had used her trainers moment of anger at the rock to sneak up behind him and jump at at his head and tangle herself in his messy black hair, lyu rolled his eyes and pulled her out of his hair and set her down on the grass next to him before looking down at her. "you are a menace, you know that?" he said in a stern voice to her and then he realised what was coming next. Pixie looked up at him with sad eyes and looked like she was going to cry and lyu gave up being mad at her, "you can be so evil and annoying some times pix" he said in a deafeated voice before bending over her and scooping her up and hugging her close. He stood up and then walked through the low grass for a little while before stopping quickly as his foot slid a little over the top of a hole. He held pixie tightly before walking round the hole and rolling his eyes, "thats really not safe, someone could fall down there" he said to himself before bending down and putting pixie down in the grass again. "im trusting you this time" he said with a nod of his head before he tapped her little points on her own head and standing up straight again and bushing some dirt from his knees. Sakura Talking Sakura Thinking
It was difficult for Sakura to remember how long she had felt like she was only a waste of space in the world, but tonight those thoughts seemed to resurface. There was no trigger this time either. They were just....there, and she couldn't seem to shoo them away. She had tried meditation, yoga, playing with Cyn but there was no hope for her at the moment. The young trainer merely gave up and let the thoughts torture her like a pesky younger sibling. Even Cyn seemed to notice something up with her, but he was sort of accustom to Saki's depressive spells. It wasn't like she got them often but when she did he knew better than to just keep to himself until she felt like her normal self. What she needed was some kind of distraction...something more than what she usually tried to use as a diversion.
Sakura needed some sort of social interaction with another human. When was the last time she actually held a conversation with someone? Weird as she may be, Sakura was never really fond of human company due to the unpredictable factor they held. Humans had a more advanced brain, therefore they could be manipulative and deceiving, and unfortunately for her she had been through to much to be considered "gullible" anymore. The young female had come to find the company of pokemon more enjoyable anyway, despite how it made others look at her. She just couldn't seem to place her trust in any human anymore. Sad, yes, but somewhat understandable knowing how everyone in her childhood behaved toward her. She was that one girl that was bullied for being the nerd, but could she help that she enjoyed being smart? Either way it scared her a little, not that her parents ever really did anything to make her feel better about herself.
Under the cover of night, Sakura managed to get her ass up out of her apartment and take a walk on the path of route 6, hoping to clear her mind and let Cyn get some exercise. The poor thing had been cramped up in the place all day sleeping because he had nothing else to do and was just itching to get out and run around. As the two walked quietly, Cyn in front and leading the way playfully, Sakura checked the recently acquired pokemon egg in her bag to make sure that everything was still okay. Yesterday she walked out to the egg shop alley on the word that there was a Spheal egg for sale, and sure enough she bought that egg with the up most excitement. Other than Quilava, Spheal was one of her favorite pokemon and she had always dreamed of owning one herself, and now she was going to hatch one!
Everything was nice and dandy as far as she was concerned and the egg was still being kept warm in the safety of her bag. The sight of the blueish egg brought a small smile to pull at Sakura's pink, glossy lips and it made her realize that even though she was feeling less than acceptable at the moment, there were happy times ahead now that she was living on her own. Diverting her silver gaze from the egg she returned her attention to Cyn, who had run off to somewhere without any warning. "Damn it, he always does this." she cursed at the fact that she had lost sight of him outside for the second time in the past week. "Cyn! Come on now you kow better than to leave my sight!" she shouted in an attempt to attract her mousy pokemon back to her.
Meanwhile, while Sakura was searching for him, Cyn was doing a little bit of spying on another duo that seemed to be travelling on the same route tonight. He watched as a little togepi frolicked in the tall grasses and scare the wits out of her trainer, who in all aspects appeared a little bit tired. Or maybe he was just very laid back? Who knew. "There you are!" Sakura exclaimed, standing behind Cyn and then picking him up and holding him close to her. "You really do need to quit running off like that, you know." she said to her pokemon in a midly sour tone. She half expected Cyn to start acting like a giant kiss ass like he always did now that he was in trouble, but his attention appeared to be focused on something else. Raising her head from looking down at her pokemon, Saki looked up and noticed a trainer and his togepi up ahead.
Oh great! She really didn't have the intention of bothering anyone tonight, but Cyn already covered that area for her tonight. Dumbstruck, Sakura wasn't really sure what to say. Should she apologize? Start a conversation? Run away? There were so many options and either way she would look like and idiot just standing there now that she was under this guy's radar. "u-uhm, hey there. I'm sorry my Cyndaquil here just got away from me, you see. I hope we didn't interrupt anything did we?" she spoke with some forced humor added to her tone.

Lyu smiled as he straightened up and as pixie ran off in to the grass again and he gave a small but loud cough and he watched her head pop out of the grass and she raised a hand to wave at him ,"piiiiii!" she giggled before dropping down and wandering a little further away. Lyu rolled his dark eyes before running a hand through his untameable dark messy hair and then he heard a voice and turned. He looked down to see a glow of red that was quickly lifted up and while he couldn't see exactly who it was seeing as it was the middle of the night, he heard a female voice speak. "don't worry about it ,I was just jumped by my own pokemon and nearly fell down a hole, all normal stuff" he said with a half hearted chuckle in his voice as he turned back to look in to the grass again.
"pix? Oi you little minx! What did I JUST say to you?" he said in a voice that sounded stern but he was really just trying not to burst out laughing at his team mate, a few moments later there came a rustling near to where the female was standing and Lyu slapped his head to his head ,"pix get over here and leave who ever it is alone! She's just out walking and doesn't need you pestering her" he said before walking forwards a little. He spotted pixies pale form sitting on the girls shoe as he came closer and she was tugging at the top of her socks and pointing up to the red glow of a pokemon in her arms and Lyu rolled his eyes ,"pix it's the middle of the night, I'm sure the nice trainer and her pokemon have better things to do then play with you or such like" he said before resting his hands on his hips and tapping his foot impatiently.

Sakura Talking Sakura Thinking
Much to her relief, Sakura hadn't interrupted anything important, not that it really looked like he actually was doing anything much but lounging and watching his cute little togepi run around like a small child. She did have to admit that the little egg pokemon was, indeed, very adorable in the way that it looked and acted. Cyn, however, wasn't all for being cute but did have his moments like this little fellow here did. "Well, if that's normal for you then my life must be utterly drab." she responded with a soft giggle following after. Why was she so giddy all of a sudden? Saki never giggled like a little school girl unless she was in a situation that caused her to be extremely anxious and she was trying to use the small laughs as a cover up. Perhaps that was it. "Maybe I really do need to get out more..." she thought to herself. It was almost like a kick in the face for her to think that, but she couldn't help but feel like it might be true.
In all honest opinion, there wasn't much to be done here, so what was the point in sticking around? Sakura felt something pull at her chest and she realized that, yes, she was craving the company of someone else, but the guy before her didn't seem all that interested in her presence. She sighed, preparing to turn around to get back on the path she was traveling previously and continue with her evening walk, that of which was doing nothing to calm her nerves. "Quil?" the little ashen pokemon in her arms mewed in confusion while looking up at his master with his squinty eyes. Feeling so dull, Sakura hadn't even muttered a "hmm?" in response to show that she heard him. She had heard him, of course, but she didn't feel much like explaining her motives to him. It wasn't like he would understand either way.
"pix? Oi you little minx!" she heard a male voice shout sternly.
Sakura looked up to see the guy turn and look toward his playful togepi who was rustling in the grass nearby, eventually noticing that it was her the little pokemon was headed toward. It sat on her shoe and tugged at her sock while curiously looking up at the fire pokemon she held lovingly in her arms. Saki smiled and put Cyn down in the grass next to Togepi for her to investigate. Cyn himself was very inquisitive, wondering what a little tyke like this was doing roaming around near them. " She's no trouble at all," she spoke in the trainers direction," I actually don't mind at all. Cyn here hasn't had anyone to really play with lately."
He would soon, whenever the spheal egg hatched, but for now he only had her to toy around with whenever he got bored. Not being a pokemon, Sakura wasn't much entertainment to him unfortunately. The female trainer sat down in the cool grass with her legs crossed and the two pokemon in front of her analyzing the hell out of each other. It was really cute actually how interested the two of them were in each other. "Quil...?" Cyn mewed once more while tilting his head to the side. "Looks like your Togepi here might have found a new friend." she chuckled softly, removing her gaze from the pokemon to the trainer who she noticed had moved forward some. "My name is Sakura by the way. This right her is Cyn." |

Lyu smiled slightly as the other girl spoke ,"I have to say that relieves me a whole lot. Pixie has done that before and been kicked or kneed away a couple of times which leads her to use a move in defense or pain or shock, leading to a pokemon battle that wasn't really her fault" he said as the girl bent over and put her own pokemon on the ground. Pixie clapped her hands together before walking over to the fire type and looking it over for a moment before chirpping loudly in a happy sort of voice,"piii, toogg, piii" she said before poking her new freind and laughing and clapping her hands together again and taking a step back as if to say "try and chase me!"
Lyu rolled his eyes at his pokemon before hearing the girl speak again ,"this bundle of menace is pixie, or pix as you may have heard, and my name is Lyu, Lyu Auxin" he said before pausing awkwardly and then holding out a hand with a lop-sided smile. "in case you hadn't noticed, I'm great with pokemon and plants, but I'm really flicking awful with humans" he said and he felt his neck go a little warm but it was the honest truth. Him and other humans really didn't seem to work while he got on wonderfully with nearly any pokemon he met, but he put that down to thinking in the same way as they did and not like a human would think.
"and I'm the total opposite, I never hang around humans if I can help it and spend all my time training or out side in the trees and forests and rivers, I just find that it's nicer out here and that I get on with the things out here as opposed to a town that's grey and cold and filled with humans that I don't really work well with" he said in a long breath before he turned his head to watch his partner and his new friends

Sakura Talking Sakura Thinking
Kick an adorable little Togepi away? She would never! That was one of the things that pissed Sakura off to no end-how some people showed no sympathy toward pokemon. In all honest opinion, pokemon seemed to be more friendly than people ever could be...but who was she to judge? "That's terrible.." she muttered softly while turning her attention to the togepi who was tempting her Cyndaquil to chase her. Cyn cutely tilted his head to the other side when he saw Pixie back away playfully, but soon caught on and mewed in a "I'm going to get you, so brace yourself!" kind of way. He only stood for a moment, staring at Pixie with a blithe smile pulling at his cream tinted lips, and then bolted toward the little pokemon with the intention of gently tackling her, if that was even possible.
Meanwhile, Lyu revealed his name to Saki and she shook his hand in a respectful greeting. She had to admit that she was relieved that he was friendly rather than one of those guys that merely shrugged her off and ignored her presence. It was another one of her pet peeves to be overlooked intentionally by anyone, no matter what gender they were. "It's nice to meet the both of you." she replied with a sociable smile stuck on her face. When was the last time she smiled like that around another person? Damn, she really did need to get out more...but how could she when it was so hard for her to be the social butterfly everyone expected her to be? She was a nervous wreck half the time, a prime example being a few minutes ago when she ran into Lyu. Sakura was very nervous, afraid that he was hostile or might be angry with her suddenly intruding in on his alone time, but it was kind of a laughable thought considering how nice he had proved himself to be so far.
Her attention was glued to Lyu as he continued to talk, each word flowing from his mouth another thing she could relate to indefinitely. Where had this guy been all her life? He preferred pokemon over humans, just like her, and it suddenly made her far more comfortable with him than she previously was. So much more that she felt like he was some long lost friend that she hadn't seen in ages. On the topic of plants, Sakura was a failure. No green thumb for her. It wasn't that she hadn't tried raising plants at all, matter of fact she used to help her grandmother in her garden in her younger days, but it was something of a challenge for her to try and raise one on her own. Raising pokemon and befriending them...now that was her forte. Maybe in the future, she considered possibly finding a job at the pokemon center as a nurse, but that would take her an extensive amount of schooling to even get a decent position.
"You might be surprised to hear this, but I myself can't stand humans. I have my reasons also, but I find pokemon are more dependable anyway. If you treat them right and behave toward them like you would want someone to behave toward you, then they will give you an unconditional amount of love in return." she spoke while she glanced over at Cyn and Pixie playing in the grass, the both of them enjoying each others company thoroughly. Cyn could get on her nerves sometimes with his impatience and stubborn attitude, but everyone had their quirks didn't they? He kind of mirrored her personality in a way, seeing as she herself could be stubborn and impatient at times, but the both of them had been inseparable for years with a strong master-pokemon bond. Hell, Cyn may have even looked at her like she was a parent since she hatched him from an egg. "I just don't understand people anymore. A majority of them can be cruel on different levels, but cruel nonetheless. I don't know why everyone can't just get along." she said while putting her elbow on her knee and placing her cheek in the palm of her hand.
On the second note of cities, it was kind of hypocritical to say she hated cities, especially since she lived in one, but the calming nature of the out doors certainly brought her happiness. She would live out in the country if she had the money, but right now all she could afford was a crappy little apartment back in Driftveil City. "Nature is rather peaceful, I totally agree with that. I'd live outside all my life if I could." she replied in agreement with Lyu. " It seems we both have plenty in common despite just meeting each other. I'm glad i ran into you rather than someone who would shoo me away the moment they saw me. I did need a bit of company tonight anyway, I would have felt thoroughly disappointed if you did that." A smooth chuckle fell from her lips following her rather blunt confession, feeling a little gullible in the fact that she may have said more than her comfort zone would typically allow.
Again, she turned away momentarily to keep an eye on Cyn, feeling paranoid that he would run off to explore again. It would really be something if Pixie followed after him. That would not be good at all. Cyn was right where he was before, chasing Pixie with determination, or maybe he was just letting her get away? Aye, it was hard to read Cyn when he was around other pokemon. "Pixie's a cute little thing. How long have you had her?" Sakura inquired with her silver eyes still on the two playing pokemon.

Lyu listened to the other girl speak and he found herself smiling again, it had been ages since he had spoken to another humans and ever longer since he had enjoyed an conversation with one. He nodded at her comments of pokemon and then laughed a little at her idea of nature ,"it's only peaceful when it wants to be" he said to himself ,the memory of one if his first nights alone in the middle of a rain storm.
"pixie found me" he said in answer to her question about pixie ,then he took a few steps away from the girl and shrugged his back pack off and dropped it to the Ground before sitting on it and waving to her ,"I've been walking all day and my legs hurt now, Is sitting alright with you?" he asked as the pair pokemon ran past in front of him, pixie only a hairs breath away from the little friendly fire type.
"pixie was still an egg when we meet, I was 10 and had just left home and was walking towards a ferry when her mother dropped her ,the egg dropped down in to my back pack and I didn't even notice" he said with a laugh before rolling his eyes at his ten year old self. "I was on the ferry for three days and i didn't find her egg, only when the ferry landed and I walked to the nearest pokecentre to find a breeder did she hatch out and I heard the egg break, I've had her ever since" he said with a smile as he saw the pokemon run back past him, pixie was now behind so he took it to mean she had been tagged by her play mate
