POSITIVE:
Charismatic-He loves to be the first to make someone smile, and tries very hard to do just that.
Kind-He is honestly, truly trying to make the world a little better than it is in his own way. Doesn't mean he won't tell you the truth or kick your butt, but it does mean he'll feel kinda bad about it if you didn't completely deserve it.
Pacifist-Unless really pushed, Jacob usually jumps from foot to foot, hands raised in a vague pleading gesture, asking for people to calm down and stop fighting.
People person-Jacob's good in crowds and parties, but also good at being in one on one situations. He just knows the ins and outs of staying on peoples good sides. Usually.
Intelligent-While not necessarily as 'book smart' as some people, he's good at using his brain to get out of tough situations and bad moments.
Honest-While a bit of a player, Jacob tries to make those who he takes an interest in know that he's not interested in much more than friendship and sex. If she decides that she can't take that, he'll even offer to driver her home, but he'd rather not lead anybody on.
Appreciates creativity-There's nothing more stimulating than a conversation with someone whose ideas are their own. Thus, Jacob desires to have connects with people who are intelligent and can do things outside of the box.
Loyal-If he gives his word, you know it's good. Jacob will go to just about any lengths to keep his word and has gotten him into plenty of trouble before.
Affectionate-Just give in when he hands you a stuffed animal or the newest poke-plushie. There is no use fighting. Resistance is futile.
Generally dislikes violence (usually in his house)-His house or whatever room he's staying in is a non-violence area. You hurt someone there, he'll pick you up and toss you outside.

NEGATIVE:
Short temper-This is something he normally hides, but if the correct buttons are pushed Jacob will go from 'Guys, there's no need to fight!' to having your face crushed in his hand and him spitting out 'I said to stop fighting!'
Lascivious-Jacob likes warm bodies, and he likes it when said warm body likes him back. He likes pretty girls and can't help, even when her boyfriend/husband is right next to her, flirting a little. This has ended badly before. He does, however, stop if she asks him to.
Reckless-While intelligent, sometimes Jacob doesn't really assess the situation the best and will step in at the wrong point or simply to help a friend.
Vain-He thinks he's hot. He thinks he's rather smart. He thinks he can kick plenty of both metaphorical and physical butt. Why wouldn't other people think so?
Depressed-Despite showing the world a happy-go-lucky face, Jacob has abysmal lows at times and even goes so far as to mutilate his body in ways that can't be seen easily.
Nosy-He likes being able to know about other people and will try to wheedle the information out of them. This can get very annoying very quickly.
Blunt-He'll tell you what he thinks about you and will be twice as rude about it if you asked for him to tell you.
Snarky-Jacob likes sarcasm and it's something he uses when fists aren't an option. Especially when fists aren't an option. His favorite line is 'Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.'
When sad is very pessimistic-Puddleglum the Marshwiggle would find sad Jacob a good companion.
Teases-His show of affection is teasing and will only stop when the person asks him too. While normally it's fine, other times people can get hurt and throw tantrums.

SECRETS:
Fears rats/mice/other vermin-Just an abnormal fear he has. Not against all of the pokemon of the same creature, but of the damned creatures themselves (as well as Rattata and especially Raticate).
Might have a sibling he's never met-Bad things happened to him as a child, and the result is that he might have a brother and/or sister hanging out there that he's never met. The idea is something that is both beautiful and painful for him.
Scars-His self-mutilation is something he hides, generally with bandages around his arms that he doesn't need since he hasn't been hurt.
A fighter-Jacob has been professionally taught how to fight and, when he does loose his temper and fights, it shows. He used to be powerful, and there's a good reason for it.

HABITS:
Tugging on his braid-When thinking really hard Jacob will tug on his braid and bite his lip.
Lacing fingers together-Whenever he sits he laces his fingers together. He doesn't know why, he just does.
Cracking his toes-Yes, Mr. Cassanova has monkey toes and if somebody is annoying him and he really doesn't want to just punch them in the face, he will distract them by discreetly cracking his toes until they stop talking/leave him alone.
