Was it using another attack like the mysterious one that hit him before? He'd have to be a lot more careful, this little thing was strong. He finally made contact with the enemy and felt good about it, he knew he'd caused some pain on her. He leaped back, going to his wooden pole but then realized it was broken and let out a sigh. How would he construct anything now? As he had moved away from the Togepi she sent out another of what he could only guess to be her signature moves. It hit him again as it seemed locked onto him. Wincing in pain the Timburr didn't know if he could take much more. He stared down the egg pokémon, trying to weaken her defense some more as he came back for another Pound. It was the only attack he could use and seeing as the psychic type had a type advantage this battle wasn't too good for the Timburr. Lyu saw pixies new concentrated extrasensory move his the timbur and the thing went blasting back a few steps and he smiled ,"pix ,remind me that I owe you some poffins later on my dear" he said with a smile as he saw the timbur leer at pixie.

The leer did its job and pixie shivered in fear but Lyu wouldn't let her do so well only to lose now ,"pix, use extrasensory again buddy, focused like you did last time" he called out and pixie nodded her head. She threw her hands together and pressed them again each other tight as she closed her eyes and screwed them up, "Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" she muttered as the timbur came closer and just as his side came down on hers she let the move lose in it's face. She had taken a little damage again from the pound move and Lyu knew that she wouldn't and couldn't keep going if she kept taking hits every turn but she was doing so well and be was so proud of her that he just didn't want to see her lose after all she had done.

The timbur was shifted back a bit and Lyu nodded his head ,"we need to be careful now pix, use lucky chant now seeing as your last has worn off now" he called out and pixie began to hum quietly to herself. The move itself took a few moments of longer humming but a sliver light danced around her for a moment and then she clapped her hand together and they knew the move had worked and she would be safe against any critical hits for a few more turns now

He hit her like once before and again she sent out the same attack. He couldn't help but feel bad about himself that he kept falling for the same attack and getting hit. Just like this time, the psychic move impacted with his face and caused a lot of pain for the pokémon. He didn't know if he could take much more of this. The Timburr backed away and watched the egg Pokémon begin to chant, using some kind of attack. He ignored this but then as he was about to attack again something happened. Just like on a previous occasion an attack out of nowhere hit the fighting pokémon and he was knocked to the ground. It was the Togepi's future sight again. This time really harming him. Laying on the ground the Timburr panting, trying to get air. He was unable to use any moves. Lyu saw the air shimmer again and he smiled as the timbur was sent back from pixie and he smiled. The use of future sight was making this battle a fair bit easier for pixie and himself because it gave her the chance to use many moves quickly together and that gave them better odds and and better odds meant more attacks and more attacks meant a win in battle. And a win meant more levels and power for pixie, and that meant that she couldn't be hit and hurt too much anymore.

Lyu curled his hand back in to a fist with a smile ,"use extrasensory one more time while he's down!" he called out and pixie once again pressed her hands together and screwed her eyes tightly shut, another cry of "piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" and a wall of purple shot forwards and into the timbur on the ground and pixie kept her eyes shut before turning away.

She turned back so she could look at Lyu and opened one eye before Lyu leaned forwards and dropped on to his knees and held his hands out to pixie again, the little egg pokemon ran forwards to her trainer and he scooped her off the ground and hugged her close and she mewed in to his ear. "you want to keep battling now? If you do I have some Potions we can use to power you back up so you'll be slightly healthier" Lyu said and pixie mewed again and he took it to be a very enthusiastic yes

It seemed like everything was going in slow-motion. The fighting type had never been defeated before and this was really getting to him. Why didn't he win? Was it the way he fought, or just the type advantage? Yet, before the pokémon could carry on asking questions to extrasensory attack hit and knocked the Timburr out. The Togepi was definitely stronger than she looked. - - - He was ever-so lonely. His friend had abandoned him not too long ago and the electric pokémon had no one to play with. It was strange not having a partner, it's almost what this pokémon was for. He gave a little sigh and wandered around the bushes, grabbing berries from random locations. A couple he bit into were bitter and caused the cheering pokémon to spit them out and pull of face of disgust. Today really wasn't the pokémon's day. He came out of the bushes and spotted a Togepi in the distance. Maybe they would be willing to play? Lyu hugged pixie close to him for a few moments and she sighed in happiness at her hug but then they both heard a small but friendly cry from nearby and Lyu lifted his head to see a plusle walking over to him and his partner and her narrowed his eyes. The wind blew throuh his messy black hair and he muttered for a small moment before lifting one hand away from pixie and running it through his shaggy and messy hair to pull it away from his face before looking down at the other pokemon.

Firstly ,he knew pixie was tired and weak and while he could give her things to get more energy he knew that she wouldn't last out for a long time. Second it was now getting later in the day and while the sun hadn't yet set it was dropping lower in the sky and making the forest glow golden in it's light. And third and finally, the new little pokemon didn't looked to actuay be aggressive like the timbur or caterpie had been, he honestly looked a bit upset and lonely, as it the world was picking today to bring him down.

Lyu bent down and held out a hand with a soft look on his face ,"having a bad day?" he asked and beside him pixie translated his words for the electric type. "you wanna have a rest with us? Maybe play a bit or something? Me and my partner have been battling so I'm sure she would enjoy some time to play and make friends" he said and pixie translated it before adding a friendly smile on the end of his words.

Oh god, this sounded great. The kindness of both the pokémon and her trainer cheered the Plusle up very much. He nodded and let a few electric sparks out due to excitement and began to jump about, doing what this pokémon did best, cheering. He looked at the Togepi and took hold of her hand, and began to dance around the grass with her, enjoying himself very much. See, he didn't need that stupid Minun to have a good time, Plusle had new friends. Lyu smiled slightly to hinself and rocked back on his heels as the now rather more happy little electric type reached out to pixie and took her hand and the two started a sort of half dance but half cheer with a little madness involved too. He laughed lightly to himself before looking around the trees and bushes and whole sort of path way in general and then he bent over and started to untie his shoelaces, normally pixie would start to tug at one of his laces while he tried to undo the other but she didn't today due to being distracted with her new freind.

*a bit short but I'm having a bad day today and have a head ache so...*

Lyu had always noticed that for some unknown reason, pixie didn't really like other female pokemon. She tended to go quiet around them and stick close to lyus heels or stay in his arms as best she could, around males she was opens and loud and her normal self but Lyu couldn't help but wonder why she had this thing with other girls. He had it down to her not wanting to look small or weak or silly in front of them the same as a new girl is when she starts at school but Lyu had always thought of pokemon as better than humans, but maybe they did share some of their bad qualities.

He looked around curiously and simply skipped in a circle a couple times. Sure he was having fun with the Togepi, but he wanted to do something more exciting! Him and Minun were always getting up to no good. He wanted to feel like that again... Wondering what on earth they could now do, an idea popped into the Plusle's head, and without hesitation he blurted it out. "Let's battle!" The smile on his face had grown wider and sparks were released from his cheeks more frequently. Lyu leant over a bit more as he heard pixie and the plusle talk among themselves away in the long grass and he smiled before sighing as he final shoe lace came away. He tugged off his worn out trainers and then rested his feet on the grass, he was a odd boy in many ways and one of them was he didn't wear any other colour sock than White or a different pair of trainers until his current pair had truly died. But all his socks had been cleaned too many times so they had taken on a pale grey sort of a colour now, but he liked them all the same so wore them just the same too, and this trainers were now the same sort of colour as well but he thought they all worked well together so why buy new ones now?

He was given just enough time to lean back and rested his hands under his head and look up at the sky and think what a nice day it was today when the pair of pokemon both gave off loud cries. he muttered as he sat up and looked at both of then with a half hearted glare but then noticed the two were spaced out across the path way and nodded before looking over at them both ,"you sure?" he asked and pixie clapped her hands together and smiled and Lyu shrugged his shoulders. "well alright, but make sure your freind knows we're here for training and not to go easy on anyone" he said with a small chuckle in his voice before he took his place behind pixie

This sure seemed like it would be a lot of fun. They parted each other, making a reasonable distance to make the start fair. He was already pretty sure on what he would do to start, but the rest of the fight would be a complete mystery to him and probably the Togepi. He watched the trainer give a sign on agreement and got ready to fight. Plusle knew that the first attack in a battle was very important, so this would have to count. Without warning he charged toward the Togepi, building up speed as he was going. On his way toward the opponent he released a shock of electricity, attempting to paralyze the Togepi and make this battle as quick as possible. Like many electric types, Plusle was all about speed and focused on dodging and causing damage quickly. Lyu saw the plusle start the battle off with quick attack and thunder wave at the same time and he nodded his head ,"use extrasensory the way you did before, aim it at the thunder wave" he called out and he saw pixie's face fall at having to attack her friend but she nodded her head all the same. Pressing her hands together she closed her eyes as the plusle closed the gap between the two pokemon deadly fast, pixie let her move lose and it shot forwards and hit the thunder wave sending it back a little bit and then it hit the plusle as it came running forwards but the little thing was moving too fast already. It sort of stumbled as the move hit it but stumbled forwards and hit pixie and both of them rolled backwards and landed a little away from each other. A hit, but a odd hit at that.

Lyu heard pixie laugh and smiled himself before giving her a moment to rock back on to her feet and then he called out his next idea ,"use future sight" he said simple and calmly and pixie nodded her head and pressed he hands to it and then murmured to herself and screwed her eyes tightly closed. Lyu watched her as she built the move up and then she snapped her eyes open and panted a little as the plusle righted itself and stood up a teeny bit away from her

Some kind of telekinetic energy zoomed forward, hitting the electric current and impacting with him. He ignored the pain and carried on, finally hitting the Togepi where they both fell to the ground. Pulling himself up, the Plusle saw Togepi almost in a trance like state. He wondered what on earth she could be doing, yet decided there was time to waste. Rightening himself, he gave a intimidating "Plus!" And ran at the Togepi. His tactics would change this time. Being so close he expected an attack. Instead when he got near her he leaped up and landed behind the pokémon and got ready to hit her from behind. Lyu watched the plusle use all its moves and let his brain think over tactics as it righted itself, the growl it used after standing up worked well on pixie and he saw her face drop again at the idea of having to hurt her freind and then the plusle ran her her and Lyu thought of an idea. "pix use extrasensory but spin!" he said with a chuckle in his voice and he earned himself a very funny look from his partner as the plusle jumped up in the air ,"get on with it!" Lyu called out and Pixie rolled her eyes at him.

Pressing be hands together and closing her eyes she began to murmur, then she leaned over on one side and twisted her foot so she turned a bit to the left and then she repeated the action until she was spinning around and around. The plusle came running at her and she let her move lose at the last moment to make a very odd looking scence, Lyu could see the White of pixies shell and then the purple of her attack all spinning making a circle and as the plusle hit her there was a blur of yellow in the circle for a Moment before pixie gave a hiss of pain and rolled to one side and the little electric type came flying out of the very odd attack and slammed in to a nearby rock.

Spinning around the attack almost surrounded the egg pokémon meaning when Plusle made deadly contact he was caused some pain and flung back. Biting his lip the Plusle looked at his opponent, slightly worried but knowing what to do. He stayed in his current location, not moving and allowing himself to rest for a couple seconds. It was best not to attack right now, as it never quite went as planned when he did. Instead he sent a Thunder wave again at the Togepi, this time determined for it to hit her. He knew that if he kept a distance from the pokémon he would have a better chance of dodging any attacks.[/style]
