[Nix Night]

Nix walked along with her hands deep in the pockets of her black And baggy combats with the light and sweet smelling wind brushing through her hair and blowing it over her face and in to her eyes so she lifted a hand and flicked be odd bits of hair bend her ears before pausing in her walking. the dirt path smelt really not so nice to her but that just made the walking more fun for her and her team. she jumped as she heard her partner mutter something small and lean forwards on her sholder and drop forwards , she reached both her arms out and caught him as he fell and then looked down at him, why?" she asked. Phantom, a level seven Ralts and nixs starter pokemon, had actually begun to get a little annoyed as his partners long and messy red hair had kept burshing in to his face and so just to tell nix that clearly, he smiled before opening his mouth, "raaa,lt".

Nix nodded her head and then looked over her shoulder and gave a low whistle and she saw something move in the bushes. A deerling lifted it's head and broke in to a grin and trot towards nix and then butted his head against her side as he came over and nix bent down a little and placed her partner on his back. she heard something move in the bushes and she turned, a dark form appeared between the soggy grasses and the trees that surrounded them and nix smiled and looked over her sholder. "will you get over here already!" nix said with a chuckle and a moment later a umbreon came running out of the bushes with a grin on her face, the umbreon had a odd tuft on her head and a small flicked up tuft at the end of her tail too. Nix smiled at her only female pokemon and then she waved a hand and as Tain and phantom ran forwards to see the umbreon came running over to nix a train came past behind her as she scooped up her umbreon and it mewed up at her with a smile. "I did have to have to boys and mad one didn't I" she said with a small snigger to herself as shadow licked her nose

The sun was beaming down on the biggest pond in the route and Tympole was having a nice relaxing day. He simply lay on one of the Lotads that had decided now was a prefect time to rest. He gave a little sound of joy that was released from his cheeks. It wasn't normal for the tadpole pokémon to be happy. Normally he had found something to get upset about... but not today! He had decided today was the day nothing would go wrong and he could simply relax by himself and do what all Tympoles liked to do; swim! Finally ready to jump back into the pool, he gave a little thank-you (that went unheard) to the Lotad and leaped into the crystal clear water. The feeling of the liquid felt great on the pokémon as he darted around different pond locals and plants. Everyone wanted to live here, it had the best surrounding area, and just a great atmosphere. Splashing out of the water for a second, Tympole felt the sun warm him, as cool droplets let off from his body. After playing in the pond for about ten minutes, the wild pokémon was feeling very happy and couldn't help but jump into the air again. This time he allowed himself to land of the ground, rolling to prevent a painful landing. Finally balancing himself the Tympole used his tail to help him 'walk'... well more of a bounce. Being in the pond sure was nice, but sometimes he liked to venture out onto land and have a look around. Normally train himself up so he can one day become king of the pond. Yet, before that could happen he'd have to evolve, twice! It seemed like the Tympole would have to do as much leveling as he could, and that's why he didn't want to pass up a opportunity like this quiet day. After a couple gazes around the area he came to the conclusion that everyone decided to relax today. But then voices could be heard from beyond the area he was at. Bouncing forward he popped out of some bushes and came face to... well, foot, with a red-headed girl. She had a couple pokémon on her and Tympole took no time to ready himself. Backing up he left a nice space between the captive pokémon and himself. Unsure who he wanted to attack the Tympole let out a free-fire supersonic. His cheeks began to vibrate, faster and faster; From them painful noise was produced. The attack flew in the direction of the trainer, and the Tympole guessed whoever it hit would have to take him on. [/style]

[Nix Night]

Nix had just pushed shadow away from her playfully and that was when she heard something move beside her and she turned her head to look in to the bushes and see a tadpole like pokemon, dipping her hand in to her pocket she took out her pokedex and flicked it open and pointed it at the new pokemon as the little thing shifted away from her a little bit.

Tympole
They warn others of danger by vibrating their cheeks to create a high-pitched sound. By vibrating its cheeks, it emits sound waves imperceptible to humans. It uses the rhythm of these sounds to talk

The little red machine said and nix nodded her head as she heard the very noise the pokedex had mentioned

Lifting her head up nix saw a wall of sound head for her and she muttered darkly to herself before feeling something pull on her knees and tug her sideways and she hit the ground as someone moved behind her. She lifted her head to see shadow on her knees having pulled on the girls combats to pull her out of the range of the attack and now Tain was standing across from the little tadpole. "looks like you have this battle Tain mate, so let's see how we go" nix said as she sat up a bit and she nodded her hand ,"use energy ball and then return" she said with a small smile and Tain lowered his head and a bubble of green appeared next to his head and then he flicked his head up. As the ball of green started to move across the gap between Tain and his opponent he lowered his head and then a small glow of pink appeared around him as he ran forwards and caught up with his first move just enough so that both moves would hit at once but so he could move too and if the energy ball missed, his return would not

Did pokémon really look out for their trainers like so? It seemed pretty damn stupid to the Joltik. He'd rather a silly human be hurt then risking his health. But everyone to their own, he thought. The girl seemed to order her pokémon to attack the Tympole and he was ready for whatever they were going to throw at him. The Deerling, that had been sent at him out of all the pokémon, Tympole knew to be a grass type. This meant the tadpole pokémon wouldn't be able to take as many attack from it as he hoped, but that didn't phase his confidence. Carefully watching his opponent as she started to attack, he cried out, "Tyyyyym~" The Deerling sent out some orb of energy that flew toward the water-type and it took him no time to figure out what to do. Skillfully he leaped sideways, using his tail to increase the length of his jump. The energy ball carried on it's course forward and faded away when it hit no target. The Tympole smirked as he watched the attack, yet this wasn't a smart idea. Not realizing the Deerling had followed up with a physical attack, he felt the pokémon's body collide with his and cause him to cry out in both surprise and pain. This pokémon meant business, and there was no way he'd get away with that sneaky attack. Now a lot closer to the enemy the Tympole had more of a chance of hitting the desired target. His cheeks again vibrated, but instead of a supersonic attack he simply let out a growl. Before long his body glowed a faint golden color, using the move he was well known for. This attack was the reason that Tympole lived in the fancy pond. Not many other pokémon of his species knew this move and it was handed down to him by his parents. The glow from around him spread to the ground where cracks formed. They ventured toward the Deerling, taking up much space on the ground as it shook with intensity. Watching to see how much damage he would, or wouldn't cause, the tadpole pokémon gave a little snicker. [/style]

[Nix Night]

Nix saw tains first move miss by miles but her face grew in to a smile as he turned his body a little and then collided with the little tadpole like pokemon and knocked it back. The small thing began making it's odd noise again but as nix opened her mouth to tell Tain to move it was over and tains eyes softened on the little thing, "growl..." nix muttered before giving a low whistle and Tain shook his head and flicked his ears about for a moment

As the ground began to move under him ,Tain gave a belt of shock and nix narrowed her eyes and shook her head. "why don't I know this? Why don't I know this move? why don't I know this tactic?" she muttered to herself before settling on her own in her mind. "Tain use energy ball again now and then once more and aim at the first one, the same as we did the first time on the marshes" she card out and tain nodded his head before lowering it again. He made a ball of green quickly and only flicked his head a little to make it move before making a second and Then flicking his head hard to send it blasting forwards in to the first move quickly and then flying towards the tympole. The move was now much bigger and faster than it would normally be so it would be harder to dodge, but the ground was shaking more and more now and twin had started to wobble on his legs as the move below him got more powerful

The ground was still shaking, getting stronger and stronger by the second. As the attack seemed to be waiting to finally inflict damage the Deerling attacked once again. Yet this time it used the same attack twice, and before they reached the Tympole combined together. He knew there was no way to dodge the attack and the best thing to do now was to simply ready himself. Using his tail, the tadpole pokémon held his ground, allowing the grass type moves to hit and cause severe pain. Biting his bottom lip the Tympole withheld the energy balls and waiting until they vanished. Without thinking after the attacks he screeched, using a supersonic attack once again. It flew at the target, followed by a couple bubbles. He knew his attack wouldn't be very effective, but it was the best he could so right now. Yet hopefully the Earth power would make up for the lack in damage. Surely it would have to have caused damage while the Tympole was attacked, right? Watching as his moves flew at the Deerling, he pondered on the chances of winning or losing. [/style]

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled to herself as she saw her and tains move slam forwards in to the little tadpole and she gave a small hiss of victory as the move worked well and then the ground gave a nasty shake and Tain dropped to the floor. She looked away as she heard him mew in slight pain before lifting her head to see him trying to stand up slowly and then she snapped her pokedex again and typed in the move earth power - The user makes the ground under the target erupt with power. It may also lower the target's Sp. Def

Nix broke in to a small grin as a button came up beside the move and she grinned, "it's a ground type move! Tain that's only half damage for you!" she called could with a smile before snapping the little red machine shut. Her face dropped as the little tympole used more moves and she curled her hand in to a tight ball, "Tain, drop down and rolled to the side" she called out and Tain nodded his head before muttering to himself about pointless ideas.

He let his legs drop and more of fell to the right as the supersonic move shot over his head but he received a face full of bubbles making him fall harder than he had meant to but he still followed through and stood up, shaking a little though. "use Energy ball again and then return, like you did before" nix called out and Tain gave a belt before lowering his head and letting a new ball of green forwards and then pressing his hooves hard in to the ground and shooting forwards, glowing faint pink once again

But at least the Deerling had been hurt by the earth power attack and although it wasn't too effective was still pretty strong. Smirking he watched the bubble attack also inflict pain on the seasonal pokémon. Trying not to lose concentration he kept eye contact with the enemy. Straight away he knew what the pokémon was about to do. The same combination as from the beginning. This time he knew what to expect but didn't plan to dodge at first. He watched as the Energy ball flew at him and winced when it hit. Yet, the Tympole had no time to waste. Quickly he leaped up using his tail, causing him to dodge the Deerling's attack. He was now in the air, just behind the pokémon and got ready to attack Again the tadpole pokémon used supersonic, not wanting to give up on confusing the Deerling. The rings of sonic waves made their way diagonally down at the pokémon, while Tympole landed on the ground. He panted trying to catch his breathe as the battle was becoming pretty tiring. [/style]

[Nix Night]

Nix saw tains energy ball hit the small blue tadpole and she smiled to herself, all her important and powerful grass moves seemed to be working well against the small water type but then her eyes widened as she saw what it was the tympoles plan. She gave a sharp hiss of anger as Tain winced and the dammed supersonic move hit his ears and he gave a bleat of anger and confusion before wobbling around on the grass for a few moments with his eyes and head spinning.

Nix had only started this battle to train her team up a bit but she was now beginning to get a bit annoyed at how tain was getting a bit beaten up and down by such a small pokemon, but she would not let Tain be beaten down

"Tain, listen to me mate" nix called over to her deerling, "don't focus, let your mind wander and let your sight do the same" she hissed. She saw him wobbled around in a circle over the now cracked ground before she tried to think of a tactic, "Tain, use growl mate" she called out and then she smiled to herself as an idea formed in her head. "if he uses only moves that don't work as attacks then he can't be hurt from it" she said to herself with a grin as she saw Tain belt feebly in the tympoles direction

She would now find it a lot harder to battle and understand anything. This was going to make the advantage fall to the Tadpole pokémon. He gave a slight snicker at the sight of the opponent looking around aimlessly and got ready to carry on with the battle. Wondering what move he could now do, the pokémon released he'd used all his attacks at least once all ready, and the best so far seemed to be earth power; no matter how ineffective. The water type began to glow with a faint golden color as he had done before. The outline made it's way downward to cover the ground, cracks following it as it ran toward the Deerling. Yet, as the attack was in use, the grass pokémon had used his growl, meaning the earth power wouldn't as as strong as before. Tympole ignored this and carried on, watching the move make it's way toward his opponent, he had a feeling of accomplishment in the pit of his stomache. [/style]

nix smiled as she saw tain move work and she watched the little tympole flinch its head a little bit and she nodded to herself but her hands curled as she watched the little water type used earth power again. Nix knew the move was only half effective on tain due to him being a grass type, so that was one good thing about it using the same move again but she didn’t see any moves that it could really use and get a good hit with, so this was really a good battle for tain. Pausing for a moment she lifted her free hand and ran in through her messy red hair and shook her hand so her hair was messy up a little more and then she heard shadow mew down beside her and nix looked down at her, “bree” she said and nix nodded her head and looked back to the battle again

Tain didn’t move or stand up because he knew if he didn’t and if the ground kept shaking then he would fall over and end up hurting himself which would really just be counter-productive, so he just sat still and then flinched a little to one side as the move hit is underside but with a small shake of his head, he gave a belt towards nix, asking what he should do next. “tain, use growl again buddy” she called out and tain nodded his head and then turned it to the tympole again and tilted his head to one side a little and gave another soft mew and even nix found herself wishing she could run over and give him a hug.

Yet, in doing that the opponent wasn't able to use any offensive moves. Almost laughing he watched as she let out another growl attack. Not worrying too much about it. Although, he knew it would lower his attack he didn't mind. Instead the Tympole let out a growl of his own, crying out his name as he did. Thinking it was best to also attack on this turn, the tadpole pokémon used his bubble. He did this by opening it's small mouth, multiple bubbles flying toward the Deerling.[/style]

Tain was now getting really annoyed with his situation. He couldn't stand up because is he did he could fall over and hurt himself, he couldn't attack because if he used a move where he had to move he could fall over or hit something else and hurt himself both ways. So he was limited to sitting still and growling pathetically towards his foe, even if he used energy ball he could end up either missing his target or even worse, hitting nix or shadow who he knew was standing at her side.

"This is just plain infuriating" he hissed to himself before looking back at shadow and nodding towards the temple across the from him ,"getting really angry now! How long before this dammed move wears off!" he hissed at her and shadow twitched her ears in anger ,"how and I supposed to know! Just focus on something and it should wear off faster" she called back and Tain nodded

Nix saw the tympole use bubble but Tain wasn't even looking at it, he had his head turned to shadow and the two of them seemed to be dead busy having some of talk and nix started tapping her foot and then she snapped her head down and looked at shadow. "hes getting annoyed at being useless isn't he" she said and shadow just mewed up at her and nix turned her head to look backs very annoyed Tain ,"uses energy ball but don't let it go, just focus on it and you should be able to see and then when you can, let it go!" she called over to him. Tain nodded his head and flicked his ears in anger before making a small ball of green beside his mouth and focusing both his eyes on it, the ball was blurry as he looked at it but he knew nix and shadow were both right, he just needed to work on his focus

He didn't seem as strong anymore and the water type's moves had hit multiple times now. With a smug look plastered on it's face, the tadpole pokémon gave a little snicker and watched to see what the Deerling would attempt now. Yet, it didn't seem like he'd do anything... instead the pokémon just stayed still and began to concentrate. An energy ball attack was beginning to grow at it's mouth. Quickly the Tympole attacked without thinking. Like on previous occasions his body glowed a faint golden color and the ground began to crack. It made it's way toward to enemy, while the Tympole watched with anticipation.[/style]

[Nix Night]

Nix saw tain close his eyes and she watched his move grow beside his mouth and she nodded her head gently as she spotted the tympole glow again and use earth power, she rolled her eyes and then muttered in a low voice to herself, “what’s the point of using a move that’s only half effective? Just use something else, even bubble is better than that” she hissed irritably. Tain flicked his ears as the crack in the ground shot towards him and nix saw him stand up slowly on shaking legs and then he jumped to one side and then his eyes narrowed and he flicked his head forwards and sent the energy ball flying forwards, incredibly fast, towards the little tadpole Pokémon.
Nix nodded her head as she watched his legs stop shaking and his head line up straight and she smiled and then curled her hand up in to a fist once again, “now use return mate” she called out with a small victorious laugh and she saw tain nod his head as well before glowing in a pale pink light before pressing his hooves in to the ground and shooting forwards and lowering his head as he moved. He soon came up behind the energy ball and nix smiled again before lifting a hand up and running it through her messy red hair once again and messing it up with that hand before lowering it to her side and curling it up in to a fist once again.
