Nix was sitting on the grass with phantom in her lap snoozing and shadow was sitting beside her knee with her paws leaning over to nixs other leg. Tain was standing a little away just wandering around trying to think of something for himself to do. Nix herself was leaning against a small tree and hand her arms around phantom who was wrapped up in her t-shirt and was gurgling in his sleep and Tain seemed to now be racing falling leaves. Nix smiled happily and then lifted up a free hand and ran it through her messy red hair and messed it up a little more and then she slipped her hand backwards and felt around on the tree behind her.
Her finger brushed over her coat that was hanging behind her over a low tree branch, her fingers caught over a small dent in it and she pulled on it and her pocket opened and she reached in and took out her gloves and then dropped her hand down on to her knee. She took her gloves and slid them over her hands and then flexed her fingers and smiled, her gloves were one of the first things she bought With her own money after her and phantoms first ever battle.
Tain paused in his running backwards a forwards and stood still for a moment, "deeeerrrrling" he said in a rather weak and wobbly voice. Nix lifted her head up and smiled in his direction and waved a hand ,"come over here buddy, Tain you rest and unspin your head and have a while to rest" she said as Tain walked over slowly and he paused beside her and nibbled at her hair for a moment. "Tain, I love you buddy but don't do that, she said with a laugh in her voice and she lifted a hand up to stroke his side
