He's a very friendly person in general- and won't hesitate to help somebody in need. Be warned- he makes horrible jokes, but overall is easy to get along with if you can deal with perverted, sexual, and forever talking teenagers. He's easier to pity, just because he's usually hungover or high out of his mind, and doing a lot of stupid things. He's extremely loyal though, and would lay his own life on the line to help a person he truly trusts.
On the subject of trust, it would seem that he believes anything. This is not so- he's very clever, and knows who and who not to confide in. His carefree and happy personality can be seen as a mask; at home he's much quieter, and usually mopes around the house. He can be a tricky one to deal with when it comes to the subject of happiness, seeing as he doesn't believe anybody can be truly happy until they die. He tends to cut up his palms when he's upset, to distract him from the cause of his bad mood.
ENEMIES OF ENEMIES I can easily see Cyrus making more enemies than friends- the kid is annoying. Not only can he irritate the most calm of men, he gets his nose into trouble frequently. He's inquisitive, and fearless (if he is scared he doesn't show it). He will easily wander into a dark alley and wave at its inhabitants, and he isn't afraid to throw an insult or mockery. So yes, this would make it very easy for him to be kidnapped (which he is absolutely terrified of), abused (which would provoke unwanted childhood memories), shot, punched, etc. - anything you can think of doing when an annoying blond freak is pestering you! Even though Cyrus is usually good at holding his temper, he does get quite touchy around the subject of fathers, and is infuriated by the sight of a pokemon being abused. He can hold grudges very easily. The idea of a gang excites him- mainly because he believed that he's untouchable, and refuses to live in fear, even though he's terrified of being alone. It's usually the reason why he chooses to annoy other people, so he isn't left by himself.
LOVERS OF LOVERS Well, this is a very easy topic. While Cyrus isn't exactly one to have a steady relationship going, he does flirt with anything wearing a skirt. He's convinced he's a lady killer (even though we all know otherwise). Simply to say, he's not afraid to talk to girls of any variety. He doesn't want to be tied down with one person, so good luck. He would never call it 'love' though; he doesn't believe in the word. To him, that's all it is- a word. He's convinced love never, and will never, exist.
He is also bisexual, even though he refuses to believe so. So yeah, he would be in denial about the whole thing. It would take a lot of... convincing to make him believe otherwise, etc.

Because Cyrus would most definitely taunt Eli for losing, especially to his worm dratini which is now at level 12 btw harhar. FRIENDLY RIVALS!!
Cy and Felix have somewhat clashing personalities, being somewhat similar, so a rivalry between them isn't all that farfetched. Firstly, they both looove girls, to the point where they are rivals on the subject. They strive to get better girls than the other, even though they both fail a lot (at least Felix does), and have a lot of 'I told you so'-moments. They are rivals in love!!
Also, this can be brought into a rivalry when it comes to Pokemon battle! Since they already try to top each other in all other areas, they also try to beat each other in battle all the time. So, this means that a battle once in a while is a given.
Otherwise, they can be quite the dynamic duo too. Both being pretty annoying, flirty and extreme in other ways, they can break even the toughest personalities into tears of tiredness.

Well you've planned this out perfectly ~ While Cyrus isn't exactly as fond as the female species as he seems, he does act it, and will put up with competition, even try to win. He's stubborn that way, he doesn't like to be left out or behind. And yes, Cyrus does fail royally when it comes to flirting with girls. They do not tend to take it very well, especially when he acts perverted. ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY BROMANCE, BRO? well he is in denial of bisexuality looololol
And Cyrus would also try to trump Felix all the time with pokemon battles, especially if Felix were to obtain something that Cy didn't have. He'd try to prove him otherwise with his superworm dratini c:

James would have fun with someone always butting into things best left untouched. James remains alone all the time, outside of his Pokémon, and sticks to shadows. Someone peeking his eyes and watch in would irritate him immediately. And really any emotion translates directly to anger. And his instinct is always to fight. He would challenge him to a battle basically immediately, or just send his Abra out before asking. Think on that? An alley battle? |

Athrun & CyrusAthrun is a very social person himself, and goes out of his way to talk to people he has never met before. Seeing as they are both rather social people, of course they would have to meet and hang out a little. He is rather naive so most of Cyrus sexual jokes would go over his head, and result in many questions about what he means by that. Also Athrun's torso is covered in scars of all sizes, seeing as Cyrus tends to cut his palms when he is in a bad mood. Perhaps something can come from that, the boys can come to understand each other a bit more and maybe even trust each other with their secrets. Random thought that one. However on the down side Athrun if he got into his head that Cyrus likes guys, he would very much do anything to make Cyrus accept that and stop running from who he really is.

I can see nix and your guy getting on really rather well, nix tends to distance herself from people for a long time as she's one of these people who believes in training her team up so they are strong enough to not be hurt, her team are her family and so they come first for her meaning she doesn't really talk to people a lot but when she does she tends to go over board and compensates for missing people. Plus I can see nix taking all the sick minded jokes and all that jazz being most funny and she would end up talking and acting fairly similarly too

I love this plot. Like seriously. Love in. I'm in love. Cy would totally try to push him away at first, though, if he felt that Athrun was getting too close. There'd have to be a lot of communication, Cyrus doesn't trust people that easily. He jokes more with girls than anything, but I can see him trying to act normal and having friends of the male assortment. It's pretty obvious that Cy is bi when you get to know him, even though he denies everything c: he acts homophobic just so people don't get ideas.
.... I just had a vision of them comparing scars. "No, Mine is bigger!" /shot.

But besides that, some kind of emotional attachment could happen in time c:

CYRUS & LUCY - okok first off i love his name. * u* anyhoozle. i play lucy here, who's super friendly and passive haha. i think the two would hit it off really great at the start. i totally see it where they just meet and are "another trainer let's battle~!" or something but then it just turns into them talking. B| all the perverted jokes would just get lucy super duper flustered though. she's a clean little girl~~~~ and whatnot. :"D also she would have 0 idea of all the stuff he did. because 1, she's not very ~in the know~ of all those stuff, and 2, she likes to see the best in people. so idk. :V she'd be really upset that he hurt himself, though. :( and if she ever found out that he didn't believe in happiness, she'd just drag him around and show him the world~~~~ and try to make him happy. :"D idk how well that'd go, though. xD
