One I suggest you set up a suggestion board or something like it so that people have places to go and two I think we need a AC here to see who's still around and who doesn't have time to get on anymore.

And maybe a general site clean up too, just to move some of the dead/finished/dying threads out so those who come back from lost time come home to a tidy site

Good ideas?

I agree on both ideas. The second might better entice more new members too, in case they might think that the site is being forgotten due to so many threads growing old without responses.

I think a AC would be good to get people back to realising others are around still in a way, and a clean up will make us look good so that could be more members. Good point

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Activity Checks...

As for cleaning up old boards, I've been trying to clean some of them up, but it's so hard to tell if some of them are actually finished or not.

That's why I thought a AC could be good, people would come back because they had realised we miss them and they would finished old threads and such like

My problem with ACs are two things:

- People will come back just for the AC and then leave again
- There are people who may not have access to a computer for some reason and may risk completely missing it.

But whatever, in the end I have no control over it.
