[Nix Night]

Nix walked along with her hands deep in the pockets of her combats and the wind brushing through her hair and blowing it over her sholders and the mud smelling really not so nice but that just made the walking all the more fun for her. she jumped as she heard her partner mutter something small and lean forwards on her sholder and drop forwards , she reached both her arms out and caught him as he feel and then looked down at him, why?" she asked. Phantom had actually begun to get a little annoyed as his partners long and messy red hair had kept burshing in to his face and so just to tell nix that clearly, he smiled before opening his mouth, "raaa,lt". 

Nix nodded her head and then bent down a little and placed her partner on the floor as she heard something move in the bushes and she turned, a dark form appeared between the soggy marshs and the trees that surrounded them and nix smiled and looked over her sholder. "Tommy, this side, we're going to try a battle me freind" she said in a cheerful voice before turning her head and looking back to the shadow again. It certainly looked more like a trainer than a pokemon, and nix had been dying to train phantom a little bit more against someone human! Nix stood up and looked in to the trees and waved her hand in the air ,"hey, over here" she called out with a grin ,"if your a trainer, pleas come over" she said and then lowered her hand and tapped it to her head in a sort of salute greeting

Oh how he loved the breeze today! He looked down to his two, quite worthless, pokemon, and then back up to the beaten path. Oh yes, Foongus and a Bidoof were the perfect combo to have, especially when they had the hots for each other. He was only a tad annoyed with the fact that they kept casting lovey-dovey glances at each other from time to time. And the fact that they were both male. He won't get any eggs this way! What's the big deal, huh?!

In fact, he was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn't even realize the rock that suddenly appeared just in front of his foot. It was big enough for one to see if they were paying attention, but Erik was definitely not paying attention. The next thing he knew, his foot caught on the ridge of said rock, and then he found himself face first in the mud. Oh the horror! He was going to get his shirt all muddy and it would take forever to get out! Not to mention the fact that he did not possible own enough bleach in the world to even try to rid his, now ruined, shirt of the dark brown splatter stains soon to come.

He sat in the mud for a moment, a scowl apparent on his face, before the six foot seven inch giant pushed himself up, and looked from Fredward to Barry. "You two are just worthless, you know that? You can't even tell me to look out for a rock that would surely ruin my new shirt! What kind of excuses for pokemon are you?" once he was certain that he was done chewing out the pokemon, he started, angrier than before, trudging down the path, in hopes of finding a laundromat or something that even came close to wash his clothes in.

[Nix Night]

Nix heard a angry voice in the trees and her first reaction was to step back and put herself in front of phantom so her partner couldn't be hurt by an angry trainers rage. She looked in to the shadows and narrowed her eyes before she dropped her hand to her belt and then she ran her finger over her pokeballs, she felt the bump of the indent on phantoms ball. She had cut in a small ghost in to the top of the ball so that she would always know which one was his when she grabbed one from her belt. She planned on doing it for all the pokemon she caught or received and decided to keep. Seeing as she only wanted a few pokemon, she would only need a few balls so personalising them wouldn't be much bother and would make her pokemon feel that bit more valued.

She shook her head as phantom tapped her leg and she looked down to see him pointing up the path ,"you really sure? The other guy doesn't seem like he'll be all that fair, and you heard ,he has two on his team" she said to him and she saw the little pokemon roll his bright eyes and she laughed and then bent down and picked him up and cupped her hands next to her sholder and she felt his weight shift from her hands to her sholder and she nodded her head and then started walking down the path. "I can offer him a spare shirt atleast, considering he likes dark grey" nix said to herself with a grin

He glared down at them one last time before taking out their pokeballs. He had customized them so that he's know which was which, for example, a mushroom was on Fredward's pokeball as it stood for Shrooms. On Barry's pokeball was two simple letters "DA" and that was supposed to stand for dumbass. Why the trainer was mean to his pokemon was beyond them, but they had a feeling that it was because he didn't want a Bidoof and a Foongus. Oh no, he wanted something more manly, like a Salamence or. . . Arceus. Arceus was the most powerful pokemon in all the land- Of course he'd want that one as his Pocket Slave! Who wouldn't?

Then he looked back down at the pokemon. He'd need a good team in order to even attempt at catching Arceus. "I'm sorry you two. . . I don't know what came over me. I just got angry because, you know, my shirt is completely ruined!" He took a deep breath to calm himself before he started going off like some teenage girl. Honestly, why did he care so much about clothes, he had plenty of money to buy his own! "I'll tell you what. Benjamin McDumbass, you can battle whatever pokemon that comes first to pop out of the bushes! As for you, Slow LeShrooms, you'll have to sit on the sidelines and wait for the second pokemon to come out." But he kept up with the false names, or what he called nicknames. This man was going to get himself killed one day with the way he talked to people.

[Nix Night]

Nix jogged up the path and felt phantom grip on to her hair, she gave a small laugh and stopped a little away from a rather small tree stump and she held up a hand to him and then tipped her head to one side a little so she bumped her head against his. "raaalt, ralllttssss" he said in complaint and nix laughed ,"look, either I hold you in my arms and I carry you or you deal with the running" she said softly and she heard him complain again ,"raalllllllttt,raa" came his answer and nix grinned.

She lifted her hand a little and tapped her freinds head before she started running again, she felt him wrap her long and messy red hair around his body and then hold on to a little more with his arms and she laughed loudly before turning her head to look about herself and then she spotted the shadow of the trainer again. Standing a little away in the trees, bent over what seemed to be another pokemon. She lifted a hand and waved it before tapping her head again ,"hey, I heard you fall over a little back, I called out before but I don't think you heard me" she said as she walked through the knee high bushes that were between the unknown trainer and herself

The next thing he knew, a girl and her pokemon, a Ralts, came out of the bushes. And she was talking abot hearing him fall. Now, Erik was torn between keeping his promise, or doing what his instincts told him to and flirting with the beautiful redhead that just so happened to cross his path in his time of need. She was like his Superwoman, here to save him from the evil clutches of dirty shirts everywhere- now he was really sounding like a teenager.

"No, I'm sorry ~ I should have been able to hear the sound of honey, though ~" His tone entirely took on a whole new sound, a more flirtatious tone had entered and infected the once angry sounding words leaving his mouth. Screw Bennet, he was going to flirt with her whether the Bidoof wanted it or not. "I'm so sorry that you had to hear that. . . If I could figure out how to back everything I said to these guys, I truly would, for I have sinned ~"

Barry looked from his trainer, then to the redhead, and then back to his trainer. Was he seriously going to just stand there and flirt when his pokemon needed to be trained, or was this just one of his diabolical plans to catch people off guard. He had to admit that even though the white haired man was pretty far off, there were times when he was able to pull together and make sense once in a while, but those times were rare as is.

"Ah, but excuse my horrible manners, if you will ~ My name is Erik. Erik Alejandro, and it would mean the world to me if you were to tell me what your's is ~" And with that, he bowed low to the ground. There was one trait that seemed to conflict with just about everything about him, and it was his need to be a gentleman whenever there was a woman involved. Sometimes, however, he ended up with a swift punch to the gut and that was that.

Nix found her mouth twisting in to a grin and she heard phantom snigger on her sholder, "tommy, shut up" she said in a light tone before lifting a hand and tapping her partners head. Phantom shifted on her sholder and she sighed and then picked him up carefully and put him down on the ground before looking at the other boy. "my name is Nix, Nix Night, if you realise where you know the name night, dont not say anything, if you dont, then all the better" she said with a snigged before dipping her head in greeting

Phantom took a step forwards towards the other pokemon and then paused and raised his hand and waved, he knew his trainer was very protective of him and knew she would get in the way should the pokemon turn out to be aggressive and attack him first. Nix lifted her head and looked down to see phantom stepping forwards and she clicked her tounge and heard phantom laugh, "i know you want to battle tommy, but you have to wait for the trainers to agree, this is a caught team after all" she said

She held out a hand to the boys Bidoof and nodded, "im sure he would be upset if you went ahead and started a battle with the nice Bidoof with out asking his trainer" she scolded and heard phantom say something queitly, "thank you for saying sorry" she said with a laugh before looking at the other trainer again

"Aah, but my fair maiden ~ You have peeked my interest now. What's so special about the name Night other than being one of the most beautiful names I've heard, for a beautiful girl ~" It seemed like there was no end in the compliments flowing from his mouth, and he had plenty more as he kept going. No matter, he was perfectly happy with this. He had never felt so relaxed in days, since he got to the Unova region for some strange mission that he couldn't remember the actual reason why he left.

Oh yes, that's right, he left because he was getting harassed by those annoying caretakers that were taking care of the Alejandro Hotel Corporation for him back in his old region. Yep, he loved being the only heir of the now dead adoptive parents, he couldn't ask for a better life!

"Well of course your pokemon, Ralts, and my Bidoof can battle!" As he spoke that, the Bidoof, Barry, looked up at him with surprise. So Erik was going to actually be of some use for once out of the past week that they've been stuck with him? That was great new news!

Quickly, the Bidoof ran over to put an appropriate distance between him and the Ralts. It was then that he looked to Erik, await instructions. "Now now Hotdog, we both know that we wait for the women to make the first move ~" Erik, still in his muddy shirt, took his spot behind Bidoof, no matter how gay he felt, he wasn't going to show how uncomfortable he was standing at the rear of an obviously gay pokemon, it would be his weakness that he would never share.

Nix gave a small smile as the boy spoke so smoothly and then shifted himself so he was standing behind his bidoof ,"you want that spare shirt? I have three currently ,you can have one it you like" she offered as phantom took a step back and stood directly in front of her and then pressed his hands together.

"and the name is well known in Kanto, my family breed eevee's" nix explained while she watched the other two and worked ok her tactics in her head. "they breed the best looking and strongest of the region but we are all expected to choose one when we reach trainer age and none of the family may become trainers, we should all be breeders. I ran away when I was Nine and became a trainer anyway, and I'm only keeping the name because it sounds good next to nix" she said and then tapped her head in her mock salute again before dropping her hand to her belt and pulling away her black ribbon and threading it through her long but messy red hair and pulling it in to a pony tail and smiling ,"ready?" she asked phantom and the little pokemon nodded ,"let's start with will-o-wisp then buddy" she called out and she saw phantom nod and lower his head a little

He saw that she was offering a shirt, but he held up his hand, shaking his head. "I would lose sleep if I knew that I took advantage of a woman ~" He got himself settled behind the Bidoof, making sure that all thoughts of how strange this looked in his mind were gone, and that his Foongus was standing next to him, silently cheering his companion on. He looked down at the two pokemon, silently wishing that they were to basic stage of dragon types or something, but there was no genie around to grant that wish, and the two stayed as a mushroom pokemon, and a under-looked beaver pokemon.

"They raise Eevees? That sounds like a fun job. Or at least, better than mine." He stopped being as talkative as he got into the swing of the battle, eyes focusing on the Ralts. So his Bidoof was going against a psychic type, not the best match-up, but it could work.

The Bidoof was hit by the Will-O-Wisp, instantly getting a burn. Although, there was no scowl on his face, Erik didn't seem at all phased by this attack. "Benny, use Rollout." He said it just above a whisper, so his, still standing in front of him, Bidoof could hear him, and only him. The little brown pokemon complied, backing up a bit and then launching forwards, quickly rolling into a ball and then heading for a collision course with the white offender. He hoped it hit.

[Nix Night]

Nix bite her lip as she saw the ball of fur that was her partners oppent coming at him and she searched her head for a plan and then nodded when one formed ,"tommy, use shadows sneak when it's close, use it's own power to blast it in to something" she called out as the bidoof came ever closer. Nix was one of these trainers who loved batting but always got worries when her team where under attack so she found battles stressful, what with phantom being so small and not that well set up with attacks she thought she had a good reason to be worried but he always told her bit to.

The ball of fur hit phantom at the same moment be realeased his shadow sneak and nix bit down hard on her lip as both the pokemon were sent flying back from their oppenet, phantom skidded across the dirt sending clouds up around him and nix felt the tang of blood as she bit down far too hard on her lip. She lifted a hand and whipped her sleve and then dropped it to her side again as she saw phantom stand up and dust all the dirt off himself, with a sharp nod and a new plan nix curled her hand in to a fist again ,"use confusion tommy" she called out.

And then all of a sudden, Erik was through with his unsuccessful attempts to woo the red haired girl in front of him, as he was now focused completely and solely on what his pokemon was doing- as if despite how he acted to the little pokemon, he truly cared for their well being. But he was sure to hide that with a scowl as his Bidoof got sent back by the Shadow Sneak, sending up a nice big cloud of dust and dirt as he skidded back.

"Ben! Use-" But was cut off as his Bidoof was hit with yet another move. It looked like this one rattled the little rodent pokemon around, but not too bad. They could do this, the opposing pokemon was just another wild pokemon that they could take down easily. "Use tackle!"

The little rodent pokemon reared up, and then hurled himself forward in an attempt to smack into the little white-and-green pokemon across from him. He wanted to make Erik proud for once, instead of just constant rebelling and such. It did get annoying after a while, you know.

Fredward was standing on the sidelines. If he had nails, he'd be biting them by now, as every time Barry got hit, he felt his stomach drop with a sense of uneasiness. If only Barry could make it through this, he'd benefit from this in more ways that one, that was for sure.

[Nix Night]

Nix watched the little beaver pokemon come running at Phantom and she watched it slam in to him and bit down in her lip. As phantom skidded backwards she gave a hiss and then nodded to herself "shadow sneak again ,NOW" she snarled, phantom forced himself to stand up straight and then he pressed his hands together again, the beam of shadows shot forwards in the bidoofs direction and then nix curled her hand in to a fist. "confusion too, use it now and aim it for the shadows tommy" she called out and phantom turned his head to look at her and then paused before nodding his head and facing his opponent and then he pressed his hands together again.

Nix lifted a hand and ran it through her long messy red hair and then flicked her hand around and then smiled to herself as phantom snapped his eyes open and sent a blasted wall of light purple in the bidoofs direction.

Both moves soon caught up with each other and the shadows from phantoms first move wrapped themselves around the purple wall from his second and as phantom flinched and ran his hand over his side where he had been hit by the bidoof. Due to nix caring so much about her team they were rarely hit in battles and seeing as nix normally put herself in the way of attacks in training she normally took the pain but now, phantom was fairing alone. And nix hated to see him get hurt, so this was hurting her as much as him, but she also needed and wanted him to win, so he knew he could deal with pain and win even through it
