[Nix Night]

Nix walked along with her hands deep in the pockets of her combats and the wind brushing through her hair and blowing it over her sholders. Phantom was begging to get a little annoyed at the hair that kept burshing over him and so just to tell nix that clearly, he lowered his head and then rested it gainst her ear before yelping, "raaa,lt" . Nix jumped and she felt the weight of her partner leave her sholder and she twisted round and caught him a little above the ground and the little physic type laughed and clapped his hands together and nix rolled her eyes, she couldnt help but smile all the same. "pesky little boy" she muttered as she lifted him up and slid him back on to her sholder where he laughed again and then started to flick at her hair when it came close to his head.

Nix paused suddenly and broke in to a wide grin as she spotted a pokemon and she dropped her hand to her belt, she could feel the smooth cool touch of a poke ball and she laughed in relief before nodding her head, "time to go buddy" she said with a snigger and phantom nodded his own head and jumped down from her sholder ad dropped to the floor as nix pulled her black ribbon from her wrist, "lets go" she sniggered to herself

The wild Pokemon turned out to be a pissy Torkoal, though its hard to tell with its seemingly chill turtle like complexion... Hearing the battle cry from the human surprised the turtle and white plumes of smoke came rocketing out from its shell and nose. It doesn't seem pleased... Instantly the white smoke turned to a sickly violet like tint, Torkoal wasted no time to go on the offence with a nice [SMOG] to try and attack both human and pokemon alike.

[Nix Night]

Nix watched the Torkoal turn and she nodded, she didnt want one of these on her team and she wasnt on of these people who caught all the pokemon just to say they had them all so she nodded her head again and looked down to phantom and opened her mouth to speak as a thick smoke surrounded them both. "flicking puddlesticks" she muttered as she coughed and then she bent over and touched her hands to the floor and kept only one knee up to steady herself as she heard phantom cough in the smog.

"oh come on" she hissed in anger before she waved her hand and saw the smog around her clear a little, "we're leveling buddie, we dont want to catch this one" she said with a smile as she thought of an idea, "use hidden power tommy" she called out and she saw a bright green light a little away from her and nodded, "dont breath in the smoke buddy" she called over and heard a faint "raalllllt" in reply telling her she was being stupid in thinking he would try it. Nix stood up again as the smog began to empty out a little and she saw phantom lower his head and release his move ,it seemed it was coming as mub bomb in their current location, which nix was very happy with

Torkoal didn't seem to happy when the mysterious Hidden Power had hit him... Out from the white smoke, he let out a roar right before setting a blaze to all he saw using [EMBER]. He isn't going to go down too easily...

Nix felt a sharp pang of pride as the mub bomb blasted in to the side of the other pokemon and she gave a whoop of happiness but it was short lived as the fire pokemon righted itself and turned back to face phantom. She watched the eyes of the other pokemon and then tilted her head to one side a little as the smoke coming it of it increased in amount and then a sharp blast of heat smashed forwards from the other pokemon. "tom, duck mate" she called out and the little ralts turned to look at her and then nix flinched and looked away as the move shot towards her freind

She turned back with in moments to see phantom hugging the ground with long burn marks down his White back and nix narrowed her eyes and curled her hands in to fists ,"right, now we are both mad" she hissed and she heard phantom agree with her before nix punched a hand into the air ,"confusion, now ,let's go mate" called out and she saw phantom close his eyes and she nodded her head as she saw the purple light surround his closed eyelids and then his eyes snapped open and he lifted his small hands in the fire pokemons direction. "come on tommy, you can land this" shelled out to try and spur her partner on, she was really worried about him taking a hit but that was just her

STATUS EFFECT! Out of 100, you got a number of 10 and lower, indicating that Phantom is now burned!

The Turtle smirked as his Ember landed, 'how do you like dem apples?' he snorted to the little white Ghost thing. However, while enjoying the damage he has caused, he didn't notice the new attack and felt suddenly Confused. Trying to aim another [EMBER] at the opponent, the Torkoal was too confused and wound up hurting its self instead...

Nix bit her lip and looked down to her pokemon, she had been right to worry about him, the burn marks on his back were clearly doing him damage and she was getting worried for him. She lifted her head and looked back to their opponent as she heard it complain over somethig and saw it attack itself with its own ember and she grinned ,"tommy, you ok to keep going? We can run it you want" she called over to phantom but he turned to look and her and shook his head and then grinned. "fine, but when I say we leave if you get hit worse, we leave" she said and phantom nodded before turning back to his opponent.

"Tom, he's a fire type, use hidden power again and it will become mub bomb Whig works well against him ,got it?" she said turning to her team mate and he gave a sharp nod and then pressed his hands together and focused on the other pokemon as nix looked around at the trees around her and tried to find a rawst berry bush but she couldn't spot any ,"plan one down" she muttered quietly as she turned back to see phantom release his move

Torkoal was suddenly hit with the hidden power! He could feel the room spinning from the sudden confusion, he was going to get sick if this kep going on much longer. He tried to fire another ember again, but ended up hurting himself once again. Damn him and his klutz!

*small note, due to some move mix ups earlier ,phantom will be using hidden power and secret power for this battle until it ends ,and then his newly decided on move after*

Nix saw her partners move shot across the short distance between him and his smoky opponent and she gave a deep and dark grin as his move the the huge fire type directly on it's front. She then felt her lip slid and she bit on to it as she saw the Torkoal begin to attack but once again the thing hit itself in is confusion. Nix lowered her head and gave a swift nod before lifting a hand up and pointing at the weaker pokemon. He was beginning to sway a little bit and he didn't look massively well for the hits he had taken and in her happiness ,nix smiled.

"tommy ,use confusion one more time and then we'll be close to getting you a level buddie" she called and she heard phantom answer her quietly before closing his eyes and pressing his hands together tightly. His eyes begin to glow purple and nix smiled and then curled her hand in to a fist. "we can do this!" she said out loud to no one in piticular ,"tommy is a physic type and using that kind of a move himself it is made that bit more powerful and that bit more power will be a great help to both of us" she said but even as she spoke she saw phantom flinched from his burn

Knows Ember and Smog

The Torkoal could feel his energy being drained from him, and he could feel the frustration rising oh so quickly. He couldn't just stamp out this stupid little pest as quickly as he should have! Damn! Before he knew it, he was hit by another confusion, and it sent him staggering backwards. With another shake of his head, he started seeing straight once again. Quickly, the tortoise pokemon threw another ember at the small pokemon, hopefully this wouldn't be his last one.

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled as the fire type staggered backwards and she clicked her tounge, phantoms snapped his eyes open and threw his little hands forwards and sent his confusion move at the now righted Torkoal and nix curled her fist and laughed in relief ,"nice going tommy" she called over and then she saw the Torkoal lower it's head a nix nodded and turned to face phantom ,"use secret power now" she called as the fire type let loose an ember move once again. It didn't hit itself this tune which nix took to mean that it wasn't confused any more which put both of them down anhand but nix wanted her tommy to level and level he would

Phantom pressed his hands together quickly and then flicked his wrists up and sent a move that looked very much like water pulse towards the other pokemon and she smiled ,"good timing for our placement to be a water move" she said with a laugh as the water and fire moves collided in the air and smoke and steam was sent in all directions. "tommy, do it again now, while the smoke and steam is still in the air" she called up and she heard him answer but she still couldn't see him. She hears the rush of water and the small cry from phantom telling her he had realised the move, now all that was left was to see if it hit the Torkoal and how well it worked against him

Before the Torkoal knew it, he was surrounded in a shroud of steam caused by the fire and water hitting each other. He couldn't see through it at all, and then he blindly aimed an ember at where he thought the little pokemon was, before he felt the water pulse hitting him and toppling him over. He was done for.

A wild deerling had been attracted to the source of the steam. He was thirsty and thought that maybe he'd find some water, but he didn't. Instead he came across a pokemon battle.

[Nix Night]

Nix heard a groan and smiled, she knew the torkoal must be just about out and so one more move would have him down and have phantom level up in just a few moments, "tommy, use hidden power one more time mate" she called out and she saw phantom's shadow in the steam, he lifted his hands and nix saw a few small ball shot towards the shadow of the fire type and nix smiled and clapped her golves hands together for a moment in joy.

She heard something move behind her and spotted a small deerling shifting through the bushes behind her and phantom and her heart leapt in her chest, "yes, hold buggery fish sticks yes!" she yelped before turning back to phantom, "tommy, as soon as you can, we have a new guy behind up and as soon as we can, we'll be catching this one" she said with glee in her voice. She dropped her hand to her belt and felt the smoothness of a pokeball and she smiled and plucked it from its place on her belt and gripped it thightly in her hand before she heard another cry from the torkoal and she turned back to see it drop forward on the ground. "one down and one level up" she said with a smile before looking over her sholder at the deerling again

The deerling used a growl at the Ralts, in hopes of lowering it's attack and then, used the space between the two to gain momentum and launch himself at the opponent with a tackle.

Nix heard the sweet and deadly cute growl from the deerling as phantom turned round to face it and she saw him flinch and nix nodded quickly and then looked back to their oppnent to see it running towards her partner, "jeez, this one is certainly direct" she muttered to herself and quickly ran through her thoughts in her head to try to think of a plan.

"tommy, use confused ray now and as soon as its close enough for you to get a direct shot at it use shadow sneak" she called out in a quick breath all of a sudden. The grass type was moving fast and nix knew that phantom still had his burn and she needed to do something about that soon but you cant really ask a wild pokemon to just wait a moment while you use a item on your team mate, its rude and unfair. Nix lifted her hand and slapped her head in one fluid movement hissed at herself, "unfair? rude? this is a battle you twit" she scolded herself before she tured to see phantom let loose the confuse ray in the deerlings direction as it came running towards him. It was so close to him now and nix was getting worried, would be be able to attack it after using confused ray, or would he just get hit hard now?
