The Joy of Life {Open}

[Athrun White]

Route Five was alive with the sound of music once again; it seemed that every day there was someone playing some sort of music here. It was probably the reason so many people stuck around, one young blonde spent most of his time here just because he enjoyed all the different styles of music that gathered in the one spot. Young Athrun White was strolling around the area with the musicians, just listing to the instruments they played or the words they sang. A small smile tugged at his lips, today had started of wonderfully and it seemed to only be getting better.

The feeling of something warm nuzzling his chest caused him to glance down; the small poke nestled in his arms nuzzled his chest one more time before looking up at him. "Lit lit litwick" the Pokémon cried out in joy when it noticed he was looking at him, his Pokémon sure did love attention but he always guessed that was why they got along so well they both loved affection. "Prince your so cute when you want cuddles" he had always spoken to his Pokémon like it a person, of course when Prince did speak back it wasn't like he could understand it he could only ever guess but most of the time it was easy to tell what he wanted.

As they came upon some grass, Athrun sat down crossing his legs and placing the Pokémon on his lap. The candle Pokémon cast its glance around the area; Prince had come to love music as much as Athrun had. However one thing he loved more than music was a battle and Oran berries, Prince could eat and eat for such a small Pokémon in fact they both could eat more than their bodies should hold. Just one more reason why the two were perfect for each other, one more reason for them to stay together.

[Nix Night]

Nix sat in the corner beside the path way and listened to the music that was being played by the other people up the path way, phantom was standing a little away from her and was clapping his hands together in time with one of the guitar players who was standing near by to him. She was a young girl with dark blonde hair and she had freckles over her nose and she had taken a shine to the dancing and clapping pokemon beside her and everytime she finished one of her songs she would toss the little pokemon a berry phantom would run forwards and grab it and then would take a bite and toss is over his sholder to the waiting Tain behind him and Tain would his head and take the remaining berry and eat it

Nix was leaning up against a tall tree with Tain laying beside her, the deerling had his head in her lap and would only move it so her could take another berry from the ground. Phantom was happy where he was and nix was tried from the training from the night before so the three of them were having a day off to all relax a bit and route five had just seemed like the right place to come to. Nix had her hair loose and the wing kept blowing it over her eyes so every few moments she would lift a hand to move it away from her face and tuck it behind her ears but it would get loose again, she had considered cutting it a few times but she liked having long and messy wild hair so she had decided against it, she would just deal with the wind and the hairs over her face.

As Athrun sat there on the grass, the warmth that was his Pokémon between his legs. His mind began to drift off into his own little world, he started thinking about leaving the city and seeing the rest of the world and the things it has to offer him. A soft sigh fell from his lips as he thought about leaving, he had no idea where to start or even what to do when he got out there. Could he just go from city to city looking for Pokémon, meeting people and making friends on his way. It sounded fun to him, yet at the back of his mind the troubling thoughts loomed always ready to strike at moments like this. What if no one out there likes you, what if you get hurt with no one around to save you or what if you lose Prince . He shook his head, blonde spikes bouncing around his face and almost hitting him in the eyes.

It was then that the bundle of warmth in his legs began to move, green eyes glanced down at the candle Pokémon. "LITWICK" and just like that the Pokémon took off, Prince glided across the ground he moved rather fast when he wanted to. The blonde youth shot up from his sitting position and took off after his Pokémon; he watched his Pokémon race towards a Ralts that seemed to be getting berries from one of the singers. Just as another berry was throw, Prince struck he swooped in and took the berry making sure to stop and stand in front of the Ralts as he ate the berry. Athrun came upon the scene, slumping over slightly to catch his breath. "Prince....that was rude and mean, you shouldn't take what isn't yours" he gave Prince a stern look before standing back up.

His head shot left and right looking for the Pokémon’s trainer, a young girl with red hair sat nearby. "Excuse me Miss, is this Ralts yours?" a small sheepish grin tugged onto his lips, as he rubbed the back of his neck in an all most nervous way. "If it is I am awfully sorry about Prince taking the berry, he doesn't seem to understand just because it’s on the ground doesn't mean he can take it". Prince was still standing in front of Ralts, a smirk on his face almost mocking the other Pokémon for not being fast enough to get the berry in time.

[Nix Night]

Nix heard someone speak and then she heard Tain mutter beside her ,"you shhh" she said to hm as she stood up and then she spotted the other boy close to her, she lifted a hand to speak as she heard phantom burst in to words. "raallt, rrraaalllltts, RRAALLLTTSS" he hissed and then he took a step forwards and nix saw the look on his face and yelped. "tommy no, you have to stop" she called out and she ran forwards and scooped him up and hugged him close to her as he waved his hands and kept on shouting and nix looked at the boy ,"I'm so sorry, he really doesnt do well with new people, or men atleast" she said and then she turned phantom round in her hands and lifted him up and looked at him in the eyes. "you, shut up now, or I'll tie your blankie jumper to Tain, behave" she said in a low voice and phantom clamped his mouth shut and shook his head, "raaaaaa" he said in a small voice before going limp and nix nodded.

Tain stepped over to nix's side and looked up at the other boy and narrowed his eyes at the litwick on the floor, then nix worked out why he was mad, he had missed out on a berry as well. Nix lowered phantom and held him against her and he pressed his head in to her and snuggled closer to her and nix smiled and lowered a hand to tains head and stroked his ears ,"you shhh too, we have to try to be friendly, even more when the guy is cute, growl all you like when they are ugly" she whispered in a low voice to the deerling beside her
