okok, this is just an on the fly idea i had, and wanted to see if it'll make sense. xD
so, we have a vs. seeker board, but i was wondering, what if we moved it to a separate "battle stadium" place? where people could sign up to battle, and there would be a specific stadium. and they could use it completely as a place to battle, instead of having to thread? idk, to make the battling process faster, i suppose, since there would be a stadium set up, so all you had to do was walk in and release your pokemon. so there could also be different types of stadiums for different types of pokemon? a pool for water-types, a rocky arena, a steam arena, etc. and as an added bonus, i was thinking that you could also opt to battle npc trainers.
and! every win/loss/tie gave you points and you could spend these points on prizes. 8)

I think that's a great idea and we should have request forms like we do for catching pokemon but as sign ups. So we would say who we are and what pokemon we are entering and which stadium but I there should be level stadiums not types.
Seeing as most people here have pokemon under level 10 and aren't training just one type of pokemon, I say we should have 3 stadiums ,those level 5 and below and then 6-10 and then 10-15 for now until we get more powerful pokemon active on the site
Either of those ideas seem good?

i wouldn't think the stadium needed to be separated by levels at all. because ... well, why would someone with a level 20 pokemon offer to battle with someone with a level 5?
i feel the request would only have to be something along the lines of...
no need to separate by levels, b/c i'm assuming that whoever is looking for a battle would specify that they're looking for an opponent with a pokemon in a certain range of levels.

I can see that working out better than my idea, but i think types stadiums wouldn't really work as we all train all types of pokemon here. Unless we only allowed one pokemon from each trainer or two if the have two of a type but I can't see that working, in a game where people train all of one type the maybe but not here so much.

ohwell, i was thinking each battle would only be a certain number of pokemon, and some trainers are going one type only? or lol maybe that's just me. but with 3v3 at the most, because otherwise, the battle would go on for much too long. B| but this would be for a quick battle, not something that's going to drag on with the entire 6 party team going against one another. this way, if someone wants to train, let's say, a water-type pokemon, they can choose to fight a single battle in the water arena, and the opponent can choose a pokemon that would also suit the water arena.
and there would be just a normal stadium. it's not like they'd all be something super speshul. and the stadiums wouldn't restrict by type. you could put a fire pokemon in the water arena if you really wanted--but that just wouldn't be smart, see.
i was just thinking that different types of arenas would force people to think creatively about the battles, instead of just making it based on moves & attacks. make it less tedious & more fun. c8

I think we can do type arenas ,but for only 1v1 battles really. You would say what kind if battle you wanted and if you wanted a type match battle you would say and there would be a match in the type arena then, by aside that I agree with everything else you've said
