Bored so I'm walking (Devan)

[Nix Night]

Nix was bored stiff now, she had walked up the path in to the little city which seemed more like a large town to her and after a qucik trip to the pokecentre to re-charge her team she was sitting outside on a bench. She had spent the whole of the morning battling trainers up and down the route that lead in to the town and now she had nothing to do seeing as a steady stream of them were walking in and out of the pokecentre.

Shadow was curled up in her lap with her tail around her head and phantom was in nix's arms with his head pressed up again her, both of them were asleep. Phantom had once again, nix still had no idea how the little pokemon did it but do it he did, was wrapped up in nix's baggy t-shirt with only his head showing, shadow on the other hand merely had on head resting on one of nixs legs and the rest of her resting on the other leg. Nix smiled down at her sleeping pokemon before she jumped at a loud cry, "WOOTTTTTTTT" came a yelp and nix sat up and looked about to see a deerling walking over to her with a small oshawott in his mouth. Nix couldnt help but laugh and lowered phantom down so he was resting again shadows side and then held out her hands to the deerling, "pass him here" she said with a chuckle

The deerling came up to nix's side and dropped the oshawott in her hand and then laid down over her feet and dropped his head while nix hugged the oshawott close to her and tried to get him to be a little quieter, "jark, what did you do?" she said with another laugh.

[Devan Tatsuya]

Devan waited in the pokemon centers lobby, sitting on a comfy little chair at one of the many tables and waiting for his Litwick to come back with Nurse Joy. She'd seemed tired lately so he figured he'd get her healed so she'd be good as new. Nurse joy came out not long after with Litwick, speaking to Devan "There we go, you Litwick is perfectly healthy." Devan stood up and Dusk jumped onto his shoulder. "Lit!" Devan laughed. "Hehe. Hi buddy. You feeling better now?" Litwick shook its head and replied "Litwick!" Devan smiled. "Thats good to hear." He looked at Nurse Joy and said "Thanks a bunch for making her feel better Nurse Joy." Nurse Joy smiled and replied "My pleasure." Then walked away to tend to the other people. Walking out of the pokemon center with Dusk still on his shoulder he heard some kind of pokemon yelling and looked over to see a girl sitting on a bench surrounded by pokemon, two of them appearing to be asleep, one just standing, and the last which the yelling was apparently coming from a small Oshawott she held in her hands. Walking over he asked "Is everything okay with your Oshawott? I heard a bit of yelling so I thought i'd make sure everything was okay." He had been looking at the Oshawott while he said this to make sure it was fine then remembered something. "Oops, forgot to introduce myself. Im Devan. The little Litwick on my shoulder is Dusk." Dusk held a hand and waved cheerily. "Lit!"

[Nix Night]

Nix hugged jark close to her shoulder and hummed quietly to him as a boy walked over to her with a litwick on his own shoulder ,he was fairly tall and had dark hair and seemed like a nice person but all the same tain jumped from where he had just laid down and gave a low mutter "deeeerrlingggg". Nix rolled her eyes and then nodded her head in the boys direction ,"as far as I can work out he was racing with my deerling, Tain, and didn't look up in time and has run in to a wall, but he's only newly hatched so tears are common for him" she explained with a smile before putting jark down on tains back. He deerling turned his head back and smiled a little at his new rider and then he looked back at the not and narrowed his eyes, nix herself shifted herself so that phantom was sitting up and shadow was still curled up and she bent down and put phantom on the floor as he opened his eyes.

Phantom took a wobbly step forwards before seeing the other male trainer and then his eyes lighted up and he saw the other pokemon on the boys shoulder and he clapped his hands together. "rraaalltss!" he cried and then he ran forwards and on to the boys foot and tugged at the bottom of his trousers and jumped up and down a little and nix giggled to herself ,"this is phantom, he's the oldest but our most friendly and playful" she said holding a hand out as shadow stretched herself out on nice lap with a soft mew.

"the deerling is called Tain as you can tell he's the protective one, phantom is the Ralts and he's the freindly one, jark is the oshawott and he's the team baby and shadow is the only girl on the team and our little eevee" nix said waving her hand over each of her team as she spoke of them and each of them lifted their head and spoke a simple cry of greeting ,beside phantom who just tugged harder on the boys trouser leg

Devan looked at the Oshawott and smiled inwardly, he could see him in his mind racing and running into a wall. The deerling, Tain she said it was, was probably letting him win and then he made the mistake of looking behind him to see how far ahead he was. "Well glad he's okay then. I must say you've got quite the team with you." He smiled down at the little Ralts standing on his shoe, phantom his name, and squatted down, petting it softly. Dusk jumped down beside Phantom and gave another of his little greetings. "Lit! Litwick!" Devan laughed a little and said "Dusk was my first pokemon. She can be a little protective herself but is generally cheerful and fun loving, give or take a little mischievous at times." Devan and Dusk exchanged an amused glance at this, Dusk's eyes seeming to say, im not the only one. Devan turned back to the girl and said "Well so far I know everyones name but yours. May I make an inquiry of it?

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled at the candle pokemon and she watched phantom hop down from the boys shoe after being petted and he held out a hand to the other pokemon ,"rraaaaall?" he asked and nix smiled and then she laughed. "excuse me young man, first you ask me if you can play, then the other pokemon and finally their trainer, you know this" nix said with a laugh and phantom turned to look at her ,"aaatlls?" he asked and nix nodded her head and then he turned back to the litwick and waited on her answer.

Nix lifted her head up and looked at the boy and held out a hand ,"nix, nix night, if you know the second name then don't mention it and if you don't then all the better" she said with a smile and she held up a hand. "I'm sorry to say that Tain will take some convincing if you wanna stay around" she said with a smile as jark hopped down from his back and walked over to the litwick and waving a paw in greeting and nix smiled at him while shadow forced herself up and sat up and flicking her tail about behind her.

Nix gave a small grin ,"it seems tommy and jark approve of you two, that's a good thing, shadow is my little girl so she's a mini me, she'll be fine with what ever I say, Tain is the resident big brother or father figure so it's him you have to work on" nix said as shadow stood up and nix used her spare hand to stroke the tuft of hair on her head

Dusk shook Phantoms hand happily and replied "Hi, im Dusk! I'd love to play with you! What do you wanna play? Tag, hide and seek, im good with anything." Looking at Jark as he came over Dusk waved her hand cheerfully back in reply, inviting him to join her and Phantom.

Devan smiled down at the three pokemon talking together. True he couldn't understand what they were saying but he had his own ideas about it. Based on what Nix had said about Phantom and Jark and what he already knew about Dusk he figured they were talking about a game of some sort. Reaching out he shook Nix's hand and replied "Nice to meet you Nix. My full name is Devan Tatsuya." He let go of her hand then looked at the pokemon again. "Boy, what I wouldn't give to understand what they were saying. I get an idea sometimes cause I know Dusk and we can understand each other a little but it’s not always so easy to decipher.” He looked back at Nix. “Looks like you've got yourself a nice little family though. So far i've got Dusk here, a Gastly named Shadow, and a Sentret named Bandit. I have an egg as well but its currently being analyzed by Nurse Joy to see if she can tell me what’s inside. I’m building up my team little my little. Right Dusk?" Dusk looked up for a moment and replied "Lit!" Then went back to talking with Jark and Phantom.

[Nix Night]

Nix sniggered before she nodded to the other boys belt, "if I have all my team out then you should to the same mate" she said with a smile as phantom gave another cry of excitement. "but tommy is a physic type so I can get some of the stuck he says but he needs to focus to use his mental powers and he's only a child. I'm sure when he evolves a little he'll get better and be able to do it more often" nix said before she looked down at the little pokemon trio. Phantom for an unknown reason suddenly reached a hand out and smacked the litwick on the head and just as nix was about to tell him off both him and jark ran away from the litwick on different directions and she paused and the sighed ,"why did it have to be all boys?" nix sniggered as the pokemon ran off.

Nix stood up and hugged shadow close to her and then smiled ,"loving how we both have a pokemon called shadow" she said with a grin before she looked over her shoulder at Tain ,"please go watch the kiddies for me or they will get lost or hurt or something" she said and Tain nodded his head and trotted off after phantom and jark. nix walked past the other boy a little bit and then nodded to the path out of the town and smiled ,"coming?" she asked as she looked over her shoulder to see Tain and phantom and jark running over towards her laughing

*I edited my last post so he could have Sentret to.*

Devan smiled as he watched Dusk chasing after Phantom and Jark, looking to be having lots of fun. "Looks like their having fun. I haven't seen Dusk have this much fun in a while. I think your right, the others should join in." Grabbing the two pokeballs on his belt he held them both out and said "All right guys, come on out!" The two pokeballs opened simultaneusly and Shadow and Bandit came out, Shadow levitating above the ground and Bandit balancing on his large tail, soon switching to bouncing in place. "This is the rest of my team. Say hi guys." Gastly and Sentret both let out a happy greeting, Sentrets paws going up as he bounced even more, a sign that he was happy. Taking a great big leap he jumped onto Devans head, looking at Nix curiously. He sniffed her a little bit then jumped down in front of her, making big eyes and his signature begging face at her. "Bandit, Shadow, this is Nix and her pokemon Phantom, Tain, Jark, and Shadow." He pointed to each of them as he called out their names. When he turned back around and saw bandit looking at Nix he laughed. "I see Bandit has already showed you his signature begging face. He normally does it to someone until they give him some food, thats how we met. Looks like your lucky though, he has actually taken it from other peoples packs before. Thats one of the reasons I call him Bandit. Dont get me wrong, he's very sweet, just a little mischievious at times." Bandit, still giving Nix his begging face, switched to balancing on his tail and tilted his head to the side ever so lightly, making him look even cuter.

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled as she walked a little away from the boy and then she heard the little senret behind her and she bent down and looked at him as shadow climbed up over her chest and sat on her shoulder before wrapping her tail around nixs shoulder and the top of her arm as nix held her hand out to the other pokemon. He lowered his head and sniffed at her hand and nix smiled as she heard the boy speak ,"one, I do believe that phantom and Tain and jark will all be happy to play with your team but I do think that pokemon should play on mixed teams when they do play" nix said with a smile as phantom ran past her laughing with the litwick coming behind him.

Shadow rolled her eyes as the two ran past and then she laughed herself as Tain ran past with jark on his back ,jark with his hands clapping and Tain trying his best not to laugh at all the fun he was having with the other pokemon. "And bandit, I shall not feed you now and try to steal from me and you will be told off by all my boys, I will feed you something later on when i feed my team, providing we are still with each other" nix said with a smile but her voice was steady and stern, the same as she had to be with phantom when he was in a hyper and overly playful mood. Shadow mewed on nixs shoulder at the idea of having some company for a bit and nix sniggered before telling her to be quiet and standing up straight and looking over at devan. "coming? And will you be staying with me and my team for a night?" she asked with a smirk as shadow flicked her tail about beside nix's head.

Bandit sighed, seeing he was going to get no food from this girl right now, and jumped back on to Devans head, where he knew he'd always get a snack. Bandit jumped down to Devans shoulder and curls his tail around his neck, using it to hang in front of Devans face where he gave him the begging face. Devan laughed and said "Okay but only one, after that you'll have to wait like everyone else." When he saw Devan reach inside his pack he let out a happy "Sentret!" Devan pulled out a poffin and Bandit swung over, grabbing it from his hand and jumping down to land smoothly on the ground all in one fluid movement. Munching on it happily. When he was finished he gave a cheerful "Sen!" and scurried off with Shadow to join in and introduce himself to the others. Devan smiled as the pair dashed off then turned back to address Nix's question. "Coming where? And where are you staying? At the pokemon center? Hmmm...." He looked over at all the pokemon, laughing and having fun together. "Yah I'd like that. In fact I think we all would. Right guys?" A resounding cry came from each of his pokemon at the same time before they went back to playing with their newfound friends.

[Nix Night]

*mate, I was scraping 230 for the last few days so it's cool*

Nix smiled at the boys answer and giggled a little ,"do I look like the kind of girl to stay in a pokecentre over night?" she asked with a raise eyebrow as shadow flicked her tail around trying to catch it up in some of nixs long and messy red hair. Nix pressed her lips together and gave a loud and high pitched whistle and she saw her boys all stop dead in their game and while phantoms head dropped and jark gave a whine ,Tain nodded his head and then started over towards nix. All the pokemon had been playing together now and nix was glad to see that no matter where they came from of what their type was they all got on ,"boys I have a question that I must ask you guys" nix said as the trio came over and all three nodded at her and nix smiled.

"devan and his team mates seem to be fitting in with our gang well, am I correct?" she said and all three pokemon nodded their heads and phantom turned to leave and nix reached out and grabbed his horn to hold him back ,"that wasn't the question" she said and he muttered and shadow laughed on her shoulder. Seeing as he was physic nix caught the message of ,"it was a question and you said you had one so there!" and nix rolled her eyes.

"should we let devan and his team travel with us for a day or so? Teach him some of the stuff we know?" she asked and phantoms eyes lit up ,"raaal, raaal, raaal, raaal, RAAAL!!!!!" he yelped jumping up and down on the spot as jark joined in with him in agreement. Nix heard shadow mew a yes in her ear and looked at tain, the grass type looked at the other pokemon before rolling his own eyes and nodding his head with a lop-sided smile.

When Dusk saw her new pokemon friends get called away she looked to Bandit and Shadow. "What do you think their doing?" Shadow looked over and after a quick thought replied "Having a meeting of some sort I think...." Bandit jumped up, balancing on his long tail and said "Yah I think your right. Looks like she's askin em somethin. Whatever it is the answer seems to be yes from the excited response." He took a short jump and landed on his feet. Dusk looked over and said "I wonder what she's askin them.....while were waiting for them we could just play by ourselves...." Bandit and Gastly exchanged a glance and Bandits paw quickly shot out, tagging Dusk and recieving a surprised expression in return. "Your it!" He said, then hurried off with Shadow to split up and run in opposite directions. "Hey no fair!" Dusk yelled, "I wasn't ready!" She laughed and headed after the pair.

Devan looked as Ralts tried to walk off and tried to muffle his laugh, though it was hard and his lips started to curl up in a smile. Looking over at his own pokemon he saw they'd started playing with each other since their newfound friends had been called away, or at least they had after having what appeared to be a brief conference with each other. He went ahead and let the smile come through then looked back at Nix. "Well I guess everyones in agreement then! I dont have to ask my pokemon, I know they'll love the idea already. Right guys?" He'd noticed the sneaky trio had been edging ever so closer in their game towards him and had been listening to what he'd been saying. Each one now gave a little embarressed expression at being caught then a cheerful sound. "Yup. Looks like they like it."

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled at her and her teams new friends and then she nodded her head to the boys ,"go on then, see if you can actually catch any of the girls of if they are too good for you" she said with a snigger. Jark leaned forwards and poked shadows tail and she looked over her shoulder at him as he made to run away before rolling her Amber eyes and standing up on her back legs and resting her paws on nixs knee. Nix smiled down and her before bending over and picking her up as she mewed in happiness and as jark frowned ,"you know shadow doesn't play unless she feels like it, so you go have fun and I'll look after her" nix said.

Phantom was already long gone by this time and jark looked up at shadow and waved a paw at her and shadow waved her own in reply and then jark smiled and ran off after phantom. Tain tired hard to his pleasure and being able to play and he walked off last and slowly but nix knew he was happy, he liked playing as much as the other boys but he also took the role of older and father on to look after them seeing as none of the others of the team would act their age. Well aside shadow.

Nix smiled and lifted shadow up so she could sit on her shoulder, the eevee climbed in to place before wrapping her tail around nixs neck a little so it came up to her other shoulder and then she mewed again in happiness. Nix turned round to look at devan and then she waved her hand for him to follow her ,"come on, playing in the streets isn't as good as playing in the bushes and trees of the forests and pathways" she said with a grin before taking another step towards the path out of town

Devan smiled at his pokemon. It looked like his little family was having a lot of fun with Nix's pokemon. He laughed a little at Jarks expression when Nix's Shadow wouldn't play with the others and looked over at them again. It looked like Nix's pokemon had all joined back into the game with his own and he grinned, seeing how much fun they were all having. "Looks like their playing tag." He gave a short laugh. "I think Bandits it." He looked up at her statement and after a brief thought he smiled and stepped after her, saying in response "I suppose your right. What do you think guys?" He recieved a brief response from each of then before they went back to playing.

Bandit ran after Shadow, trying to tag the Gastly. He was getting closer but it was still a little hard. Suddenly he jumped in the air to come down and land on his tail, using the momentum to make a huge leap and crash into the Gastly. They both tumbled to the ground in a heap and looked at each other for a moment then burst out laughing. Sentret scurried off hurriedly to avoid being tagged again and Shadow went off after the others, laughing and having lots of fun.

Devan looked over at them fondly, thinking about all the fun adventures they'd surely have together.

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled as she walked along and watched the pokemon play, it was most funny because of the big differences between them all. Phantom and jark and dusk were all on the ground and running back and forth around the others, Tain was taller and so seemed to be the only one with an easy way of tagging the ghastly but it seemed that the senret called bandit had it east too with his powerful tail.

Nix smiled at the other boy before trying to think of a topic for them to talk of between them and then an idea hit her ,"you said dusk, the litwick was your first pokemon, were you born in unova then?" she asked to try and get him talking. She had always hated walking along with humans or pokemon and no one talking ,it made the whole time odd and weird so she always made time to talk or start people talking. "I was born in kanto and ran away from home when I was about nine ,my Ralts spotted me in sinnoh and then followed me on to a ship to hoenn and when he was found and everyone asked who he belonged to. He ran over to me and hide behind me and I said i would look after him and we have been together ever since" she said as phantom came running past them and lifted a hand and waved at his trainer before being hit on the back by dusk and giving a cry of anger at being tagged when he was distracted but he broke in to a run after jark who had come too close to his side.
