Bored so I'm walking (Devan)

*You mean in the purple part? Devan never talks in those. It was the pokemon the whole time and only them. Thats why I make it purple. =3*

Devan peeked out at first just to make sure Nix was fully dressed then got up with his pokemon and walked over. He huffed “That may be so but I thought you might find it rather weird or awkward with three pokemon staring at you while you changed clothes. Excuse me for trying to be all gentlemen like. I don’t do it very often so when I do it should be appreciated. And furthermore-!” He couldn’t finish as his pokemon, deciding their trainer needed to get back to having fun, had made a little plan together and all ran into his back, pushing him and themselves into the water. Devan came up with a big splash then sighed. After that the corners of his mouth moved in the beginnings of a small smile and soon it was full and finished. He said “All right I guess I needed that. Thanks guys.” His pokemon did a mixture of smiling, laughing, and he thought he caught a snicker from Bandit. He soon joined in and laughed with them. Seeing Nix underwater he grinned deviously, all thoughts of being a gentlemen aside. He dove under when he thought she was looking his way and silently swam over, getting under her and suddenly shooting up, taking her out of the water then throwing her right back in. Still being a little careful he made sure to throw her where there was only water and didn’t throw half as hard as he normally would. He gave her the same devious grin.

After being thrown around in the water for a moment by a boy nix had thought her friend she rolled her eyes ,"bad move buddy" she said in a small voice to herself and a flush of bubble leaked out from her mouth as she spoke. she let herself fall down and sink to the bottom of the river before grabbing a rock with her feet to hold herself in place for a few moments. She twisted in the water and then bent down and gave a dark grin before pushing up with her legs and shooting up through the water and then she threw her arms out and caught devan around his chest and then both of them left the water. Smiling as she did so, she let her arms go loose and drop devan back on to the water as she landed on the grassy bank beside the river before smiling down at him and tilting her head to one side a little, he was in the water where he had been dropped, face up.

"did I ever mention? I was trained in secret by misty, the kanto regions water gym leader, for about 5 years. So I'm dead good with water" nix said with a smirk before she dipped her legs in the water again. "plus I've been hurt, so you shouldn't be going for me" she said with a laugh before she pushed off on the bank again and dropped in to the water once more

Devan stood up in the water and shook his head from side to side, water splattering everywhere. He stopped, his hair now ruined and sighed. "I spent so much time doing my hair this morning, and now look what you did to it. You killed my hairstyle.” He smiled and said “Well that would have been good information to know before you threw me into the water. And hey don’t try and pull the hurt excuse on me after that little trick of yours. Besides, you didn’t like me worrying over you. You know you need to make up your mind. You don’t like me worrying over you and then when I don’t worry over you and try to have fun with you, you throw me and say you shouldn’t be a target. For shame on you for confusing a poor young boy.” As he saw her dive under the water he waited until she came back up then grinned deviously and sent a big splash of water at her, laughing then diving under before she could get him back. He held onto a fairly large rock to stay under, deciding to try and wait her out for a little bit. He could hold his breath for a good amount of time so maybe she’d get bored waiting.

Devan’s pokemon stopped in their playing to watch with growing curiosity and interest as their trainer and their new friend Nix played with each other by splashing and dunking each other under the water. They all sat on the bank at the moment, looking into the cool water to see their trainer down on the bottom. None of them said anything but they all obviously had one thought, what was going to happen next?

[Nix Night]

Nix rolled her eyes at the boy and then as he sent a new wave of water over her she tipped back and dropped under the water again and then kicked out and smiled as she felt the current again her hand and then she twisted herself around in the water and swam a little down the river. She spotted a small group of mudkip's swimming in the water, she could make out a mother and three smaller ones and she smiled as one of them swam over to her before flicking her tail and swimming back to her mother and nix tilted her head to one side. "at least some people have mothers and families who care" she thought herself before swimming up and then looking around again.

She spotted shadows black form sitting down on the bank a fair bit away from her and rolled her eyes at herself and then swam to the side of the bank and pulled herself out on to the grass. Her hair was darker now and stuck down to her back and her costume was warm too so she could barely feel the throbbing of the wounds as she walked back up towards the group of pokemon before smiling at the water ,"he doesn't know I wandered off does he..." she said with a snigger as shadow lifted her head and spotted her.

"breeee" she said with a snigger before nix nodded and then sat down beside shadow and then leaned over to her and picked up sparky and settled him in her lap before looking down at him. "thanks for the shock, honestly" she said with a small smile ,"you got me a hole in my head and side but you also got shadow to evolve and to get more powerful, so thanks" she said before holding a hand out to him

Devan sat there wondering why there had been no retaliation from Nix. Maybe she was waiting for him to come up so she could splash him, maybe she had got out of the water and was laughing about him being stuck there. Hmm, he thought to himself, if I go up and check I might get splashed or dunked back under but if I don’t I could just end up being part of a big joke. While he was thinking though his air supply was slowly but surely dwindling and even as he finished the thought he felt it. Check it is then. He shot up out of the water, taking a huge gulp of air. He looked over to see Nix sitting beside Shadow and holding Sparky. Spitting out a small stream of water he said to her “You know its rude to just leave somebody like that. What if I got stuck down there? I could have drowned.” He walked over, still staying in the water, and shook his head back and forth, water splashing all over Nix. He grinned at her and winked.

Sparky looked up at Nix as she suddenly grabbed him. He wasn’t really sure what she was saying but he got the gist of it. She was thanking him about something, maybe about Shadow evolving? Either way he smiled and held up his paws “Chu!” He looked at her hand as she held it out to him and thought for a minute. He’d seen Devan do this with other trainers, they would grab hands then shake em and let go. But whenever he and Devan did it they’d ball up their hands and punch each other’s fist so that’s what he thought they should do. He nodded his head no and put his hands on his hips. Going over to her hand he used his tiny paws to close it then closed his paw into a fist and punched hers. He smiled. “Chu!”

Nix rolled her eyes at devan and then she took her free hand and wrapped it around her own hair before flicking it up at him and sniggering ,"I've got more hair than you kiddo, I can make you way more wet that you can me" she said with a smirk before she looked back at sparky. Rolling her eyes at the little pichus approach to her thanks she leaned back and looked at dusk, "are all the boys on your team like this?" she asked with a grin and when the litwick took a moment consider the question, nixs face broke in to a grin.

Picking sparky up and setting him down beside her she looked at him ,"don't always do what devan does" she said before standing up and then pointing to him ,"because he's not very smart" she said before looking up at the boy and breaking in to a wide grin and then pressing both her hands against his chest and pushing him in to the river as shadow laughed beside her and dusk tried not to smile. "quick!" she hissed playfully at the pokemon before bending over and scooping sparky and dusk up in one movement and then breaking in to a run towards the trees ,"come on guys!" she laughed back over her shoulder as shadow jumped to her feet and nodded her head towards her trainers retreating form, "breeee!" she snigger before twitching her ears. How nix and shadow loved their jokes

“Who’re you calling a kid? I’m older than you are. Haven’t you ever heard the phrase respect your elders.” He looked up as she started talking to Dusk and said “Well of course, their boys, that’s how their supposed to act. And hey im very smart, I just don’t like to show it. And for you information I am a great example, unlike some people I know. Hint, hint….Hey what are you-“ He didn’t get to finish as she suddenly pushed him forward and back into the river. He came up and spat out a small stream of river water, coughing a little, then looked around, seeing Nix running off with Sparky and Dusk. “Hey,” he got out of the water, running after her, “where are you going!? Get back here!” He suddenly stopped for a second then turned back “Shadow, your in charge till I get back. Make sure everyone stays together, no one gets hurt, and that nothing goes wrong while im gone.” The Gastly nodded and replied “Gastly!” Devan then continued on after Nix, wondering where she was leading him. He knew he’d catch her at least, he was a fast runner and she was still injured so no worries. Now if only he knew where they were going.

Shadow looked at the rest of Devan’s remaining team as her trainer ran off after their new friend. She nodded to herself and smiled “Okay im in charge! So that means-“ The rest of the team splashed her which cut her off and she laughed, going back to playing.

[Nix Night]

Nix sniggered as she heard the shout of Devan's voice behind her and she felt sparky twitch a little in her arms and she looked down at him quickly ,"it's just a game, don't get too worried or you'll end up with worry lines by level five" she said with a smile. She looked up to see a log and forgetting her side and jumped up and over it before landing a little hard and hissing in pain but she was close to where she had intended to be.

She looked in to the trees and bushes and when a moment later, something blue flickered around across from her ,she broke in to a smile and jogged forwards before bending over and dropping dusk and sparky on the floor as shadow came up beside her. Nix stood up and paused for a moment taking long breaths before lifting her head and waving a hand to no one in piticular. "Missa? Farn? Twins?" she called out between breath and she saw Missa step out from the bushes and look nix once over before rolling her eyes and stepping totally out of the bushes with flick and twitch standing by her sides and Farn walking along at the back.

"dusk and sparky, this is Missa and Farn and their twin boys" she said waving a hand over the eevelutions family and then she nodded to the pokemon at her side, "Missa and farn and twins, this is dusk and sparky, they are friends of a friend of mine" she said with a smile. Shadow walked up behind nix and gave a soft mew and Missa snapped her head to look at her and then looked up at nix and mewed herself and nix simply nodded her head in answer

Sparky had absolutely no idea what was going on. At first he was a little scared, he didn’t like to be apart from Devan since he considered him to be his father, him being the first thing he saw after he hatched out of his egg and being there with him ever since, but after he heard Nix’s calm and reassuring tone he guessed he’d be fine. He looked over at Dusk and she wasn’t freaking out or anything, she didn’t even look worried. Yah they’d be fine…..he still wondered what they were doing though.

Devan still couldn’t figure out what Nix was doing, where she was going, and more importantly, when she was going to stop. He could see he was catching up though, at least that was good news. Looking up he saw her as she jumped over the log, preparing to himself he sprung over, landing lightly on his feet on the other side, then continuing after her. Where was she going!? He saw her finally stop and slowed to a walk, coming up behind her. “Hey. So what was the deal with that? You should know I don’t exercise or anything and that was-“ He looked over her shoulder to see the pokemon family and said. “Oh….hi…” He turned back to Nix, his eyes asking an unspoken question.

Sparky jumped down and waved cheerfully to all the new pokemon. “Hi!” Dusk leaped down to land beside the energetic little pichu and nodded. “Nice to meet you! I’m Dusk and this is Sparky.” Sparky looked up as he saw Devan walk over and jumped at him, being caught in his arms and snuggling against his chest. “Devan!”

Nix heard devan come up behind her and she saw Missa wrap her tail around her twin boys and nix shook her head ,"this is the friend I was talking about" she said as he came over and spoke to her and nix smiled to herself. "I want all of you to meet but couldn't think how to do it ,and you should try exercise ,it can be fun" she said and then she bent down and let herself drop to the ground as Missa uncurled her tail and sent the twins flying towards her.

She saw sparky and dusk introduce themselves and then smiled as sparky for a hug from his trainer before coughing and waving a hand over the eevelutions family. "the vaporeon is Missa and the mother here, Farn in the father and the leafeon at the back and the two eevee boys are twitch and flick, flick is the paler one and twitch is the darker" she said and each pokemon gave a mew at their name.

Missa stood up and walked back her boys and nix and sat across from shadow who looked at her for a moment before widening her eyes and giving a mew of happiness and running forwards, the two females rubbed noses and mewed to each other and nix found herself smiling before she looked back at devan. "shadow was born in to this litter, but she was a small egg and they thought she wouldn't make it so told me to take it away to save them the Pain of seeing a dead newborn" she explained with a small smile ,"I never told them that she hatched out ,I've been planning this for months" she said as missa waved the twins away from nix and over to their elder sister.

Devan laughed and hugged Sparky close to him, the little pichu pressing himself into Devan’s chest before jumping up and running up his arm, moving to his favorite spot in between the crook of Devan’s neck and shoulder where he snuggled down and sat, his head brushing up against Devans chin. Devan smiled and reached up, rubbing the pichu’s fluffy neck and receiving a sound of happiness from the little pichu. He looked over at Nix “You could have just said “Hey Devan theres someone I’d like you to meet, would you come with me? And a please wouldn’t have hurt either.” He winked at her then turned and looked over at the family and nodded, giving them a soft smile. “Its nice to meet all of you. Im Devan.” He looked back over at Nix “So then I guess you’ve all known each other a while then. I must say you really know how to make friends,” he sat down on the other side of her, “now if only you could think of a less exercisy active way to introduce those friends to other friends you’d be just fine.” He smiled at her then looked over at Shadow. It seemed they were having quite the family moment. His eyes started to grow a little moist and he said “I think I might cry……” He looked over at Nix “You are such a good friend….well for the most part at least. You did keep their child hidden from them for a few months you devious little rascal.” He smiled a little at the last part them felt a small shock on his shoulder and looked down to see pichu start tearing up as well. Uh oh. Whenever pichu had burst of emotions its electricity pouches overflowed. Suddenly it got to max and an electric shock burst out, zapping both Devan and Pichu. Devan fell over backwards. “Struck twice in one day….yaaaay.”

[Nix Night]

Nix smiled at devan beside her and she looked at shadow ,"have you ever been from kanto to unova in under two months? It's a hard thing to do! As soon as shadow hatched I started back here to tell her fokes but that's four ferry trips and a lot of walking so if you ask me, two months is a very short time!" she said with a sort of playful anger before she punched devan lightly on the arm.

Shadow gave a soft mew before brushing her head again her mothers side and nix looked over at them as farn lifted his tail and sent the twins diving over at her ,Missa smiled and took a step back as the brown bundles of fur jumped on their darker sister and shadow was knocked to one side before they started tugging playfully at a ear each. Shadow mewed in fake distress and both boys let go, so she rolled over on to her feet and then pawed at both of their ears and they laughed up at her as nix sniggered herself.

Nix then heard a buzz beside her and turned to see devan laying out on the floor beside her and sparky sitting on his chest, nix laughed loudly at the two boys before looking at shadow and then nodding to dusk who was still sitting on the grass beside nixs knee ,"introduce everyone" nix said to shadow with a grin

Devan tilted his head to the side as he thought and started biting the side of his thumb for a minute. Putting his hand down he nodded to himself and turned back to Nix, giving a soft smile. “No I can’t say I have but I guess your right, it sounds like it would take a while.” He made a little face as she punched his arm and pinched her arm back in return, sticking his tongue out at her for a minute. “Nah.” He smiled as he saw the eevee evolution family reunite with their lost child. It seemed that the mother, Missa Nix had called her, was having a heart to heart moment with Shadow. He sighed. “What I would give to understand the pokemon language and hear what they are saying.” He looked over at the twin eevee brothers as they playfully pounced on their bigger sister, pulling on her ears and play fighting until Shadow sat up and pawed the two of them, getting a laugh out of the adorable brothers . He sat up, shaking his head from side to side. “Okay, I think im better. Thanks for the wake up Sparky.” The little pichu who now sat in Devan’s lap rubbed the back of his head, a little embarrassed by the shocking of himself and his trainer. “Chu.” Devan scratched him gently under his chin and ruffled the fur on top of his head, receiving a cheerful smile and pleasurable sound from Sparky in return.

Nix smiled as shadow wandered around her family and meet her father who was sitting behind everyone with his dark green leaf blowing around gently in the slight wind, he lifted his head to greet his daughter before dropping it again and sighing as soon as he saw no one was watching them. Shadow turned her head to one side a little before following his fathers eyes to see Missa being jumped on by her brothers and she nodded her head, any pokemon or trainer with extra arms or anything that stuck out or was easy to reach would be pawed and chewed on by the twins and she knew it. She turned back to her father and smiled at him and twitched her dark ears and he gave a small chuckle and nodded his head ,at least his ears were safe from baby teeth.

Nix smiled as her pokemon met each of her family and she found herself beginning to wonder ,devan seemed totally at home around the family and his pokemon seemed happy enough too, she had begun to wonder what would happen should they battle. She had a team of six pokemon now and had just about all the key types too, so she was safe in many respects but he has mostly ghost and dark types which were hard to battle for dome pokemon, of course only phantom on her team was really in trouble against then but she was beginning to think about asking devan for a battle. But she was tired now and she had seen both the twins and shadow yawning a few times so maybe they should go back to the camp site and sleep for a while and maybe battle in the morning
